We already dropped the round limit from 15 minutes to 10 minutes because some maps were lasting over 2 hours, as for the map rotation there is a plus and minus to changing rotation every week the plus is if there are maps you don't like you only have to put up with them one week, the minus is if there are maps you really like you only get to play them once a week and if you play the same time every day you can sometimes go through a week without playing some maps, we now have a voting system in place to try and see which maps are really popular and unpopular, in game type in your console !like or !dislike (don't forget the ! first) you only get to vote for a map once, everyone can vote, members and non members alike. Well if you guys come up with a list of liked maps, I could make up a rotation of liked maps that we can keep on the server for at least 2 weeks at a time like we are doing on the FT Server #1 NY!!!!!! Then all I have to do is make sure it goes round in circles. LOL Then that leaves a lot of maps we don't like what we going to do with them lol

You don't lose your rank by playing different servers, if you want to play with some of us you need to be in TS with us so we can all join a server at the same time, we can help you with that, if there are say 8 of us we all get in the same squad, click the ready button when we are all ready and we all go in the same server on the same team. Oh yeah just ignore the dickheads who ram you then give you abuse we see it in every game.

You should install this mod Cross, called the Darth Mod for Empire Total war from the other link i posted, much more realistic explosions and damage etc loads more units, even have American Militia State Units too, or if you want there is an East India Company Mod, that just deals with the British in India. They even do a WW1 mod too.

You might want to check this site out if you ain't already, they do mods which makes these games even better and introduce 100's of new units. They even do American Civil War mods and also the Zulu Wars mod, Zulu mod is particularly good especially the Battle of Isandlwhana. http://www.twcenter.net/forums/forum.php

Yes time commanders was very similar, probably used most of the stuff from the first Rome Total war, ie it was all ancient warfare with Romans, Greeks, Spartans etc, was good program that don't know why they don't bring it back with newer technology available it would be very good.

I have every one m8, also got Rome2 Total War on pre-order too, i can't wait for that one, early September i believe, Total War series are some of the greatest games ever released in my opinion.

Look for us in TS m8 usually in the "WTF should i play" channel and add us all to your friend list if you like, or let us know what name you will be playing under and we can add you.

I don't know how much hard drive space you have m8, but if you have plenty try and keep as many maps as possible, we have around 280 ish maps that run on the MW2 ftag server, we have these in 10 rotations which change once a week, that's why you are getting so many downloads.

Something like this will need to be discussed by Rugger and the senior Admins, these guys are usually pretty busy, do they know anything about your request, have you had any feedback from them or not?

looks like a fun game... doubt my system would play it very good. Someday I will upgrade but just not any time soon. It's a great game m8, everyone is getting addicted to it.
