How To Setup Bind Keys To Record Demos

If this has already been posted some where that i missed admins please feel free to remove or move to another topic

 

to setup bind keys for demos

pull down console and type in
/bind home "record" 
/bind end "stoprecord"

!!! note when playing in a modded server (i.e xiace) the demo will be saved in the mods/xiace folder !!!

 

!!! for WaW the demos will be in computer,local disk,users,your name,appdata,local,activision,codwaw,players,demos

 

this works for all CoD games but BO2. i haven't tried it in any other games as of yet.

reddragaon try this one it take screen shot when you stop recording and only uses one key bind.

 

You can also do this if you want ,     but please make a copy and backup your config first        

Copy and paste this into your ( config_mp.cfg ) file, you can change the bind key if you want ,this is a toggle ,it will start and stop the recording ,This will will also take a screen shot when stopped, say If want the score at the end of the game.,

 But I think this is it..Give it a try ..you can always delete it.



bind F5 "vstr demo_bfe"
seta demo1 "record; set nextdemo vstr demo2"
seta demo2 "stoprecord; set nextdemo vstr demo1"
seta demo_bfe "vstr demo_start"
seta demo_start "record; seta demo_bfe vstr demo_stop"
seta demo_stop "screenshotJpeg; stoprecord; seta demo_bfe vstr demo_start"
