Thought of another perk:

For those that are distressed about bunny hopping.  I propose that a player's gun would only be able to shoot when he's

at the top of his jump (apex)  ... He wouldn't be able to shoot while going up or coming down ... There would only be a small

window in which he'd be able to shoot his weapon ... This would seriously diminish a player's propensity to jump ...

Just thought of another perk:

You could have a player load his weapon with lead paint.  Your bunny-hopping target would not

be killed but his ability to hop would be seriously hampered since the lead paint would add mass

therefore increasing his gravitational pull rendering his "hoppiness" useless ... even tiring him out.

The paint would wear off after some time and he\she could return to his bunny-hopping addiction ...

if he survives his temporary grounding ... At least this could be a possible counter to the

bunny-hopping strategy ...
