I had the most fantastic Fathrs Day tonight. I spent it with my Dad who was in the Vietnam War, my Grandfather who was in Egypt during WWII and my self, a vet from the Gulf War. So we have 3 generation of Luhman's at the table talking about there experiences and life during these time of hardship. (I recorded about 2 hours of it on my phone if you want to hear snippets) Then all of a sudden my Grandfather while is telling us about shooting vultures from the terrace of there base housing, spits out "I remeber that whore who introduced me to your Grandmother" My Grandmother was a nurse on Egyp then. You could here a pin drop in that house. My Dad had never even heard that story. Point is, take as much time as you can to learn about what your family has done to get you where you are today. No matter how boring or mundane it is you will walk away with a good memory like I did.

I've had those type of talks too. You and I have a lot in common. My GrandPa is 92 and my dad is 66 as well. I am blessed to still have them both. Awards
