Ok I sold my dad a Cadillac BLS and now he has taken it from the UK to France and now needs some Headlamps that are for the Left Hand Drive Version of the car. Cadillac went bust in the UK although parts are available and the supplier for the BLS is in Sweden as its based on the Saab 93. Basically I need someone to make a call to them and explain the problem. Can you help ?

dawolf HAve u guys ever been in styria? In my opinion it's one of the most beautiful districts in austria - we got a lot of snow in winter, warm summers and the best beer Styria calles itself: "The green heart of austria" and thats exactly what it is like. Large and old forests, small lakes, wonderful montains in the north and smaller hills in the south. I haven't been to a lot of other countries but the ones I've already seen weren't as beatiful as styria. But that's just my opinion, maybe u guys can change my way of thinking about my favourite place to live Looks like the place Frodo lives

Yorkshire or possibly the Lake District, both in the North of England are great places to live. Beautiful all year round with little or no crime make these places my favourite places in the world. I live in West Yorkshire about 30 miles from Manchester and Leeds and its quiet, clean and I wish I moved here earlier.

I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year and fill you in with my 2010. 2010 started with me being off work and surviving on £70 per incapacity benefit (around 150$ a week lol) after a truck had driven over my car and left me with a hip injury that forced me to eventually 13 months off work. My hopes of getting married were looking dodgy and my morale was at a all time low. Anyway I decided to carry on with the wedding plans and also to get another Dog, Mac a heinz terrier from a local rescue centre. I sold my sports car and bought and sold 1970's MG's and Old Landrovers to help get through the hard financial times. Around the same time I was invited to join XI, I was delighted and feel really priverledged to be a member of XI. I met a lot of people that generally just cheered me up. In June I married Janet ( Search Buttwoman and you will see more of her ) In August I started a new job (I left in October as it was not for me) Anyway in December I got a new Job in the position that I wanted and the future is looking bright. I think the general optimism of my fellow XI members has cheered me up and helped get me through a tough year. 2011 has started well and I look forward to it with great optimism. So Happy New Year and may it bring you all Joy and Happiness.

Hi Fruittropics. I sell cars over here in the UK. If your looking for a car and your not sure then a Japanese car by Honda, Nissan or Toyota is probably a good bet. They are built much better than other manufacturers cars including German cars. Make sure you drive the car you want to buy. If it does not stay in straight line or it makes any unusual noises then walk away. Low Mileage is not always as good as a full stamped service history (give the servicing dealer a call to check the stamps are genuine.) When looking at the paintwork look for overspray or an orange peel finish that points towards the car being damaged repaired (not always bad news and good for getting the price down) I find the best cars to buy price wise are cars advertised with a tag line like Company Car Forces Sale or Emigrating. These are being sold because the seller needs to sell and if your waving cash then they are more likely to take a lower price. Other than listening to the engine and making sure it starts ok, you can check the inside of the oil cap for a milky substance. If its Milky walk away as the chances are the cylinder head gasket is on its way out (very common for people to try and sell there car with this problem). As a woman you should always take someone with you to view a car that is being sold privately. Having someone with you will make you braver at bidding a lower price and in some cases make the buyer a little more intimidated. Hope this helps and let me know how you went on.
