It is very hard to snipe in Acemod. I don't think this artificial game spoiler should be included in the game.
This is a war game. It's about problem solving and solution finding. The idea is to win. There are many ways to win. You have to pick the right way depending on the crowd that's present, in the map, at the moment. Sometimes you need to snipe to win sometimes you need to run-an-gun. Sometimes you have to focus on eliminating snipers to win. This is what WAR is about. It is a free-flowing, free-form, puzzle that requires fast thinking on your feet. It sucks me in. It's exciting. Dynamic. Multi-dimensional.
Adding some external function that blocks one facet of the game reduces the entire game - dramatically. It's like taking one tire off a car. You may still be able to drive it but you probably will never be able to go fast or turn in a certain direction any longer. Same with any artificial limit on this game.
You are essentially saying snipers shouldn't be here. That wasn't the intent of the creators of this game. They provided claymores to protect snipers. They provided multiple sniper weapons to choose from. Why are we essentially nixing this dimension?
Are we nixing it for the run-an-gunners? I don't want to just play a run and gun game. That's too much like a zillion other games. That's like Pong or Mario Brothers. (There are members who are in far away, higher ping, places who can only snipe.)
If you're going to nix sniping, (and I snipe with the M14 and G3 which is now impossible), why are we allowing claymores? Why noob tubes? Why C4? C4 - throw it in the air while hopping and it kills everyone in that direction on the map!! How is that as rational as sniping?
Those things are all annoying in their own way, but conversely, they present challenges that make this a fun thinking game.
I have tried the anti-sniping and I humbly request it be removed.
