Ottawa police announced at a press conference Wednesday that the soldier shot while guarding the National War Memorial had died.​

"Our thoughts are with the member and the members of his family at this time," said RCMP Assistant Commissioner Gilles Michaud at the press conference.
 

My thoughts are with you Canada. Let's hope they can nip this in the bud before it gets worse.

DJ, it was just announced that both shooters were Canadians who converted to Islam. Even though the shooters were not immigrants both undoubtedly attended mosques in that area and were more than likely radicalized by what they heard there and on the web.

I have a nephew who is caught up in conspiracy theories of all sorts and I find there's no reasoning with people who buy the bullshit spewed on the various conspiracy web sites. But then too, we have TV (Nat. Geo channel and others) airing nonsense on Susqautch, space aliens, ghosts, etc., and the gullible ignorant buy this crap. If I were Bill Gates I would have a commercial-free, "real" reality channel that did nothing but debunk the bullshit - everything from the above to lying commercials.    The dumbing down of America is in full force.
