I just bought whatever battery Amazon says fit. I wish I bought the APC name brand, but whatever. The good news is it came in the mail and after some testing it seems to be working. Came drained it seems and was giving an error, but I let it charge for a while and the errors stopped. Still charging now, but seems to be working. I will test under load maybe tomorrow before setting up fully and running wiring. I think that was my mistake the last time I just plopped everything together and didn't really test it all. The old battery is still under warranty and seems like I should be able to return to manufacturer for refund, but says to return in original box and I don't have that. I'm curious if they let me mail a leaking battery anyways. We will see. I will start an RMA and see what happens. Still may just buy one of those tripp lite isobars like TBB mentioned. Seems like a good piece of equipment.

Been seeing loads of stuff on tik tok about this trial. Really interesting how shit gets fucked up so quick.

So I ordered a replacement battery. The cheaper off brand one. Gotta save that $15 extra dollars. I also just pulled it apart and looked for faults or burned up wires and such and saw nothing. Battery will be here in less than a week, and crossing fingers.

Both times I replaced the batteries and it does not fix. It is like the unit has an issue. I've done a little googling and says either replace battery or hard reboot the device. All the rest say that the unit chipset is fried.

I've had an APC battery backup the 1500m and it took a full shit on me. I'm not sure it has worked properly for a while though. I've had it only 4 years. The last one was about the same. Broke after like 4 years. They are not exactly cheap if they break all the darn time. I am wondering if I even need it or should just go with a nice surge protector for my computer. I do have a smaller APC backup that isn't fancy, but it has literally lasted like 20 years. I have it plugged into my clock radio. Any serious suggestions on UPS or Surge protector? No I'm not using raspberry pi or ardino you weirdos.

Hi All, We had some serious issues with our Conan server host in the last few weeks and I moved to a new host that also borked our server. I'm seriously thinking of just buying a dedicated server to host the game from home. After a little research I did a build out on PC Parts Picker and would like any and all advice for parts.
