Hi Harry,
The following is the opinion of some MicroSoft Certified something or other, but I think he may have something...
"Unhandled Exception Problems are caused by misconfigured system files.
So, from my experience, If you got Unhandled Exception Problems then there is a 96% chance that your computer has registry problems." Scott Chan, Micro Soft Certified Professional.
I used to have this problem but I regularly use a program called CCleaner http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner
Once you install it look on the left margin for Cleaner. Click Anaylize on the bottom, wait til it is done, then click Run Cleaner ...
This is very important!!!! On the left again the next icon down is Registry, click that, then click Scan for issues...
This program is Free and does a nice job of cleaning up after all your nasty lil downloads...LoL
I also use a program called Tune up Utilities http://www.tune-up.com/download/. I started with the free download but soon paid for the full version.
Now the only time I see that pesky exception message is when I do not regularly clean my registry and run the one step maintenance on Utilities.
Hope this helps Harry. Make a mental note of how many MBs of crap CCleaner takes off your system and how many registry errors it finds.....
