PT-Bama Chris, There are no 'voice recordings' kept in logs. Only typed text in-game can be looked at later, unless you or someone that was in-game at the time was recording. That being the case, it is your word against anyone else's on issues such as this. This is the place where you take the advice given earlier in this thread to step away and let it be. You seem to be incapable of that so far. If you really do like playing here more than you enjoy stirring the pot, then I make to you a friendly suggestion to drop it and go play. well since you did ask lol, its called knallers config and outside of some of the teams set of configs may be the best so far, [its a good starting point to build on] you need to change the binds to yours, the hunkmegs can be changed to half of your ram size [ i think its the same as cod 4] and the name needs changing, change the blood to 0, its a graphics hit,and as per normal back up your old one, this will help with fps,ping is different, i did ask on here about the causes [and solutions] about high ping never got a reply, and sgt pepper i am not been flash or big time here, but if you get stuck pm me, with "frankenstein" i have had to tweak a lot of config files on cod 4 [and yet i am still crap its very sad lol] i am a bit puzzled by your high ping issue, the highest i have seen from the uk was 154, we have a guy winning maps with a ping of 174 [and above]and the other night the wanker had a ping of 999 and refused to get off draging us all down,i would get your connection DEEJAYKEG No firewall and no AV cover is asking for trouble. Guess some folks haven't heard of botnets and drive-by infections... Heck, there are even back doors into OS X these days! I have long rated AVG's free offering but it doesn't include some features of the paid-for product. Both Norton and McAfee products have caused me real headaches. Symantec had to send me three A4 pages of instructions to remove their product from my system once and that isn't the mark of a great program! My first job when I buy a machine with Norton or McAfee stuff on it is to remove it! snap,i use iorbit, but i am thinking of moving on myself so this thread is of massive use

i do not much about this sort of thing, but can some body explain how you can play on ace mod [never mind constantly win] with a ping of 173, like i said i have no idea about this?, but it seems very high when guys with a ping of 40 ish are getting malletted all of the time.please note, no names, no pack drill, i am just asking how

MARKOFF>XI< my ping is about 130 /140 and i play ever game great as for low ping players i don't think it makes any differents some battles you win and some you lose not too sure about that, i have gone into 50/50 and i know that 80% of the time i am dead as a dodo, by the time i have pressed my mouse to fire. he/she or it has moved on to the next victim, and i am left shouting "HACKER" at the screen. what are you telling me none of you do that?

Damage_inc- /rate 25000 /cl_maxpackets 100 /com_maxfps 125 /cl_packetdup 1 /snaps 30 just set these they work best for ping all the other 4 pages of stuff people are presenting are for fps gl i agree [well sort off ] max fps 125 is for fps not ping, packetdup 1, great if you are close to the server [no losing packets must be great]mine is set to 2, and we were asked about making the game smoother?,so fps comes into it hence the config files posted, i have found that since mucking around with my file my ping went down ,only to 99 some nights but still an improvment, over what it was,but boy my game looks crap

your boss was asking about a config file to improves game smothness and ping, which got me to thinking [not an every day event by all accounts] now to my mind an improved config file makes the game far far better to play [but looks crap] but i would have thought that ping is down to connection and location? what to you all think about it? what causes high ping?also how can people with a ping of upwards of 180/190 win any map? and please no jokes about drugged chinese guys heard it all before

just to let you grown ups know [ you might already] there is a glitch in ace mods mp_storm map, in one of the buildings there is a freezer, if you sit inside you cannot been seen by the mugs belting by outside,but you can see [and slaughter ]them, i think judging by the howls of outrage last night the common thought is that it is a glitch
