  1. A horse and a chicken are playing in a meadow. The horse fall's into a mud hole and is sinking. He calls to the chicken to go and get the farmer to help pull him out to safety. The chicken runs to the farm but the farmer can't be found. So she drives the farmer's BMW back to the mud hole and ties some rope around the bumper. She then throws the other end of the rope to his friend, the horse, and drives the car forward saving him from sinking! A few days later, the chicken and horse were playing in the meadow again and the chicken fell into the mud hole. The chicken yelled to the horse to go and get some help from the farmer. The horse said, "I think I can stand over the hole!" So he stretched over the width of the hole and said, "Grab for my penis and pull yourself up." And the chicken did and pulled herself to safety! The moral of the story: If you're hung like a horse, you don't need a BMW to pick up chicks!

  3. At work right now, just messaging from my phone.
  4. I have the display port cable that came with it on there now.
  5. Yeah, it does it does it no problem with gsync in non UHD. But, I notice the FPS drops. I ended up turning off gsync. Between my 1 gig internet and 240hz I do just fine. I want to try and get a better hdmi cable like Sharpe was talking about and see how that runs.
  6. How did you embed it?
  7. Tired to insert the video, doesn't seem to be working.

    G-Sync?

Thanks, I'll have to look into that too. I'll have more time to mess around with it Monday night and see what will be the best settings I can get out of video card and monitor.

    G-Sync?

I just noticed in the Nvidia control panel, that the resolution changes what the refresh rate can be set at with in the control panel. For example, at 1080p, 1920x1080. The rate is between 60hz and 120hz. If it is switched to basic non Ultra HD.. It can be set to 240hz? There is a ton of options in between the two with various HZ options. Anything below non Ultra HD is all 240hz. I haven't tried changing any of it yet, but windows display settings are stuck at 60hz once gsync was enabled. I'm not sure if changing the Nvidia settings will change this or not?

    G-Sync?

I just got home and plugged in the display port. And boom.. g sync options was available! @J3st3r Checked out the refresh rate.. sadly 60hz. It gives the option to change the refresh rate in the nvidia control panel, but in windows display settings it's locked at 60hz? Which brings me to the question is it even worth losing 180hz refresh rate?? @SharpeAs far as the HDMI cable, I'm not sure which one it is. Being that I don't know, I would have to assume it's 2.0. Both the monitor and the video cards hdmi's ports are 2.0. Is the 2.1 just the cord or does the port have to be 2.1 as well?
  12. That's pretty awesome! Kind of crazy how something as simple as playing games with some friends someone mets online could change the direction of one's life/career choices. I've seen it happen with people a lot over the years, rather it be online gaming or just finding things across the internet that peeks one's interests. Then boom, they are into video editing, graphic design, website design, coding or software engineering. Pretty amazing if you think a about it!

    G-Sync?

Yeah, both the video card and monitor are products initially released in 2019. With the monitor display port 1.2 and the video card 1.4. In theory should still work assuming the display port is the issue. I'm sure I have one around the house somewhere. Assuming the kids are not all on games when I get home tonight ill check it out.

    G-Sync?

I'm not sure which hdmi version it is, only that it's hdmi. How do you tell the difference from looking at it? I'll have to check the frame rate when I get home tonight. I know it's set at 240hz in windows, but what I'm actually getting out of it I'm not sure yet. I'm using hdmi, and I downloaded and installed the 'official' driver on Thursday. It did not make a difference to the settings availability. Was kind of hoping that was the issue when I downloaded it.

    G-Sync?

I can't right now. I'm just on my phone. The kids are playing games. I have to go to bed soon, have work tomorrow.

    G-Sync?

I seen something about updating the firmware. But for that monitor it is not available on their website. However it is for other monitors.

    G-Sync?

Was the first thing I did. Downloaded the drivers from the Samsung website.
  18. Yeah, but the surround sound is amazing!

    G-Sync?

I read this on a few websites, but the g sync option is missing from the nvidia control panel. It is also missing from the monitor display menu.

    G-Sync?

So the family computer got an unexpected upgrade last week. My 3 year old nephew apparently broke the monitor. My wife didn't want me to know about it while i was at work and tried to get the same one, but was unsuccessful in finding it locally. She ended up buying the Samsung CRG5 27" Curved 240hz. An Upgrade from the Samsung CF398 Curved 60hz.. In hopes I wouldn't notice. . . Also unsuccessful! Lmao! I'm trying to figure out how to set up G-Sync. I've looked online and I cannot figure it out. Or maybe my video card is not good enough to do it? Samsung Odyssey CRG5 27" Curved EVGA GeForce GTX 1650 Super OC Ultra Both Say they are G Sync compatible, but in the nvidia control panel the g sync setup is missing.. And in the monitor OSD the place to enable g sync is missing. There is only one grayed on thing on the monitor OSD, which is adaptive sync?
  21. I played again after posting this and did not notice the same issue with the betty's. So yeah, I would just assume a lag issue at the time. Unsure on which end. Noticed some lag spikes on my TVs too over the past week, which is on WiFi. The computer his wired into the modem though, not that means anything.
  22. I rarely kill anyone with the mini nuke. They do drop in care packs more often now which is cool. I also noticed yesterday, that Betty's are killing me before they even spin up. I normally have a chance to lay down and not get killed. Yesterday, it was instant death, then I would here it spin up.

    Welcome to the forums!
  24. That's pretty cool @Sitting-Duc! I've never really tried to learn coding at all. I've thought about it often over the years, just no fallow through. I can read some source code and get the basic idea or what certain strings of code is doing, but actually typing it out myself.. I would be lost. The more I'm looking into it, I'm wondering if I should look into free computer science course videos or just free ball it into some code and figure it out? lol I'm kind of thinking free ball it! Sense i've started some computer science videos and they take it back to the biblics and start talking about binary.. However, I feel like I should start on basic code structure first? IDK
  25. I am strongly considering taking on the challenge to learning to code mobile apps as well as web development to support said apps. Does anyone have any experience with mobile app development? If so, what language did you start with? What would be a good place to start as a beginner? At this time I have no intentions of taking courses, other than training videos I can watch at my leisure. I'm looking at this as more of a hobby in my spare time than a career choice. Any direction would be appreciated! Thanks!
