I could be totally wrong. But I think the cars or equipment earned, have different health than the ones out of care packs? Or maybe that was the old mod? I don't remember. I remember reading that somewhere though. May also depend on the weapons used to shoot the cars?

If I remember right, there is a stand alone program that admins can use to watch players with out joining the game. I have no idea if they use it here or not. I feel maybe they should from time to time. That would remove the question of ... well they stopped using it because you dropped to spec. Honestly, I think most of the people that get accused of hacking, actually don't. And a lot of people who like to accuse everyone. But not take the time to drop to spec and make a video or perhaps don't know how. I've seen a lot of Hack-utaions over the years playing FPS games. Some people will say someone is hacking every single time they died.. like themselves are impossible to kill or something so if someone does, they're obviously hacking!... My youngest son is well known for that. Lmao! That's just my opinion though.

Yeah, there's a split second after you spawn that you cannot shoot. It's always been that way. I don't know if it's intentional or not. But ive noticed it for quite a while. Even in the previous mod. I would notice that trying to spawn in front of someone thinking you have the jump on them, then they just shoot you. Even though your already hitting fire.

I played a few maps today. Not really a big deal. Just have to watch where you use your kill streaks now. Mainly on the real open maps. Like I turned into a defrost car in a open area, respawned.. then had to rush to cover. So really, just chose wisely where you use your kills streaks. The only time I can see this as being undesirable, if your down to a few players and you just respawned and turned into a car right away.. if the enemy team is in your spawn, they will probably get you. So you'll have to hope you defrosted a few. All in all.. I don't feel it changed much.. assuming your not using the extra spawn time for a tactical advantage.

The reality is this is almost every game sense the 90s. All one can do is try to catch them and ban them, but more importantly.. play and have fun! After all it is a game and the sole purpose is to enjoy your time playing it and make some friends along the way. Hackers definitely ruin the game, but you cannot take it personally and let it effect your view of all players that play well. I understand your frustration, I / most of us have played games for years and have came across people that was flat out hacking and did not try to hide it or too stupid to realize how obvious it was.

I feel the rounds will be much shorter when this is implemented. Being that when a team is down to one or two players, they will not be able to get out of spawn to thaw team mates. I think it should maybe be a server rule that you do not advance on a player while in spawn protection. Now obviously get to cover and get to a tactical location, but not in the sense of to go invisible to get be hind people and shoot them in the back. I am guilty of this too, but I also know how annoying it is. I'm all for recording players to see if they are hacking! The game has been around long enough, everyone 'should' know how to make a demo by now. For me personally, if anyone thinks I cheat, pm me.. I will gladly hit record on gforce and /record for a demo of me playing. Furthermore, @HotRod55 lives about 20 minutes from me. I'm sure I could buy some beer and play side by side to remove any doubt.. lmao! 9 times out of 10 I'm drunk when I play anyways. I am all for any changes that make the game more enjoyable.. for all players!

What is your actual definition of World Class Players? I seen but not fully read a post about WCP not talking, but not into depth of what you meant? Seemed quite passively aggressive. In the since you think someone is hacking? If I'm wrong about this, please point it point it out. I joke around sometimes rather it be something I say or sig's, but it's all in comradery.

I know I'm not super active anymore..life has been busy! But what are yooouuu doing?!? I'm off on Tuesday and Wednesday, I generally stay up late drinking Monday night and Tuesday night, then occasionally on and off during the week. However, I've noticed no one is ever on at night. (CoD4 or any game in the server list really.) What are you playing now? If anything, I know my life has changed over the past few years. Really just looking for XI members to play with late nights. A while back when (US) member would log out, members across the pond (UK) would log on. Seems CoD4 is slow at nights in the (US).. has the game changed?! Yeah, it does it does it no problem with gsync in non UHD. But, I notice the FPS drops. I ended up turning off gsync. Between my 1 gig internet and 240hz I do just fine. I want to try and get a better hdmi cable like Sharpe was talking about and see how that runs.

Thanks, I'll have to look into that too. I'll have more time to mess around with it Monday night and see what will be the best settings I can get out of video card and monitor.

I just noticed in the Nvidia control panel, that the resolution changes what the refresh rate can be set at with in the control panel. For example, at 1080p, 1920x1080. The rate is between 60hz and 120hz. If it is switched to basic non Ultra HD.. It can be set to 240hz? There is a ton of options in between the two with various HZ options. Anything below non Ultra HD is all 240hz. I haven't tried changing any of it yet, but windows display settings are stuck at 60hz once gsync was enabled. I'm not sure if changing the Nvidia settings will change this or not?

I just got home and plugged in the display port. And boom.. g sync options was available! @J3st3r Checked out the refresh rate.. sadly 60hz. It gives the option to change the refresh rate in the nvidia control panel, but in windows display settings it's locked at 60hz? Which brings me to the question is it even worth losing 180hz refresh rate?? @SharpeAs far as the HDMI cable, I'm not sure which one it is. Being that I don't know, I would have to assume it's 2.0. Both the monitor and the video cards hdmi's ports are 2.0. Is the 2.1 just the cord or does the port have to be 2.1 as well?

That's pretty awesome! Kind of crazy how something as simple as playing games with some friends someone mets online could change the direction of one's life/career choices. I've seen it happen with people a lot over the years, rather it be online gaming or just finding things across the internet that peeks one's interests. Then boom, they are into video editing, graphic design, website design, coding or software engineering. Pretty amazing if you think a about it!
