So you are saying that this one player emptied xi servers for years? Did he empty the servers when he was in XI? I guess that is a slightly different story.

Bans a total of 5 players over the course of 13 years, with the most recent ban churning the pot enough to spawn 10 page posts where XI members literally stated ditching their tags seemingly unaware of previous bans. Suggests that banning another 3-5 players (most in XI currently) if moved to cod5 would be fine. I dunno seems a bit extreme to me. I guarantee that if Sharpe/me/snits/boobies went to cod5 the cry babies who got the last player banned would be raging with equal severity. This is all excluding the fact that this will only get worse with time. We all degrade in skill as we age, if you don't think better players than the ones you have banned will show up and with more frequency, I'd be astonished.

Yes I am absolutely saying this. Do you actually think the majority of gamers look at a gaming clan and are like "hey a gaming clan that bans gamers for being good, sounds legit/great/cool/respectable"? Don't get me wrong, your cod4 freeztag server is awesome, and I enjoy the majority of the players, but gaming is evolving rapidly and we have no idea what the future holds. In my eyes a clan that maintains a moral high ground of not banning people for being skilled is always going to be the better option for future proofing so to speak.

I'm not sure about circles. You're using anecdotes as a defense. I'm also asking if you truly believe that your clan would have died off if you had never banned somebody for playing a game well. Their are clans older than yours that have never banned somebody for skill. I know PDE has the most populated servers in a few different games and they will ban anyone who excessively accuses people of hacking without proof.

@Labob I entirely disagree. There is absolutely an answer that is always a win 100% of the time no questions asked. You don't ban people for playing the game. Ever. It's an absurd concept. Could you imagine if the mid and bottom tier players that make up THE MAJORITY of any game server in ANY game who have never won a match in their lives demanded that the top players be removed? Do they? Seems to me you have an issue of some ego drunk cry babies who enjoyed being the big fish in a little pond until their self-images shattered. Sounds like they are the type that can enthusiastically dish it out but can't even begin to stand having to endure losing themselves. If I'm not mistaken this player you banned had been frequenting your servers for years. Did the servers die? Did they cease to exist like some of these whiners would have you believe if you didn't bow to their screaming pussy rage fests? The final nail in the coffin is simple, it has been confirmed that this guy is still playing on XI servers under different names; servers seem fine to me? Am I missing something? Essentially you guys are destroying your clan name over something that isn't even effective, nor needed apparently... How you guys don't consider this is a massive loss is astonishing. I'd also argue that the framing of the question shouldn't be "is one player more important than 10 whiners" so much as "are 10 cry babies more important than the integrity of a clan with 600+ members?". I'd imagine you would be hard pressed to conjure a "yes" from the majority of any gaming clan.

This is one of the underlying issues with the cod4 freeztag server. I have a TON of video footage now of literally shooting right through people where you can even see the tracers hit the enemy player without a single hit marker. I also have captured videos where ill be shooting someone and I don't get hitmarkers until my recticle is a good 1/2 to 1 inch in front of the player. IT FEELS AWFUL.

@Labob From my understanding, albeit limited, the player you guys banned had not only been an XI member at one point but had played on your servers for years. So, were the servers he played on desolate or empty for years on end? On top of that, from what some of the cod4 fam are saying, he is still playing cod4 on XI servers. No one is calling hacker to anyone I've seen playing, with the top dog being Sharpe who has XI tags. This is interesting considering there are a good 4 or 5 players who on any given night can run house. What happens if they all decide to hop onto cod5? It's an interesting question considering I, Sharpe, and others I'm sure, have considered giving cod5 a go. It sounds like you guys could potentially have some MAJOR issues on the horizon.

@Sammy Hey man just want to say big fan of the cod4 freeztag mod. That being said, I have compiled a good 30+ gigs of footage proving without a doubt that something is seriously off with the guns. I've spent a few hours going through it all. I have clips when slowed down one can literally see the bullet tracer go through the enemy player without a single hitmarker. I have recordings of both hip fire and ADS. Anyways, the evidence is extensive I just need to spend the time to make a video. All in all, dope mod and I've loved playing here ?

Asking for a friend: If XI decides to vote on this issue and it doesn't pass, will previously banned players who were axed for skill be reinstated? I'd surely like to get my hands on these players for a pummelin'. Also, if it does pass, how will you deal with XI members that fall into this "too good" category? Cough Sharp/boobies/snits/hell/etc. Cough.
