I think a reasonable time limit for being in one place and a fairly short distance to move still allows one to "protect the flag" but also deals with the camping issue. How about trying the following for starters: Max time in one position: Set a limit, such as 1-2 minutes. This would encourage players to move and prevent them from staying in one place for too long. Movement speed: Consider increasing the minimum movement speed or adjusting the time to leave a location (e.g., after 1-2 minutes, players must move 20-30 meters).

Apparently the Openwarfare mod added CTFB starting in Version 1.6.4 - NEW: Added new mode to CTF where players will have to return their flag to their base if captured by the enemy (Capture the Flag Back). Also there is an anti-camping functionality to CTF that would be good to enable if it hasn't been already. Please check gametypes.cfg for more details. Ignore my question about dropping the flag, it can be done using the options for control if you setup a key for "drop object". It may seem odd, but there are times when that can be a strategic move. Thanks for getting this server up. 6 second respawn delay is perfect. A couple of suggestions: Instead of 2 rounds @ 15min / map, how about 3 rounds 10 minute each (first team to get two wins means map rotates, just like in the FT server) Can you drop the flag? I've played that way in some Cod2 servers in the past or played CTFB (Capture the Flag Back) Is there a map list we can look at to see what's there and what isn't to add suggestions? (Toujane is there, is Matmata?) Eliminate grenade launchers all together. Maybe eliminating sniper and heavy gunner altogether means people are rushing for certain weapon types. Just throwing out my $0.02 cents worth....and since it's in Canadian funds its only worth $0.014 today.

Can you just start earlier before the weather gets too hot?

We plant heirloom seeds and collect and dry our own each year to minimize having to purchase them. I also plant more than I need so that I can give away to family and friends. It's great when others start different varieties than you do say tomatoes and peppers and you can exchange seeds as well. Take care, Sancho

Wow! Nice pictures! Looks like you have a nice size garden plot. And yes, we freeze and can a lot of our produce. Gardening is a great hobby as it gets you close to the earth.

I have something similar with slightly higher walls. Yes, it make the job of transferring in and out much easier. My other option is that I use a small radiator type heater to keep the temperature above zero in the greenhouse. I have a wireless thermometer that keeps me informed as to the temperature in the greenhouse and also records the record high or low....so I know how cold it got overnight.

Ha ha! I can't say I never tried it.....or like Bill Clinton "I never inhaled"....but it was only in my youth and I never possessed any or bought any myself. Just not for me. I do like Bob Marley and Reggae....but that's as close as I get nowaday!

My wife and I just planted 218 tomato and pepper seeds today. We start indoors around this time of year and then when the weather gets warmer we start to take the seedlings outside in the sun or the little greenhouse we have. In early spring they have to come in at night, but later on they can stay out as long as there is no frost warning.We have been doing this for many years now and its a great hobby that also helps with the grocery bills. Lots of fun. Thanks to all who helped put it together! Maybe we can do something like this again......even in just one of the regular freezetag servers on a certain recurring day/time, like once a month, to make it easier on the organizers/admins.
