couple celebrating over 50 years of marriage, decided that as they had just gotten over serious illnesses it was time to sit down and just chat about life and things. Well After an hour of some lovely heart to heart stuff the husband asks about an old shoe box that had been in the cupboard since they were married, with a note from the wife. Under no circumstances do not open! Well she said I think today is the time to share it's contents. She opens the box and inside is a fine embroidery, with the words I'm sorry , love you lots and 25000 pounds. Well that's a lovely embroidery why is it there? Well she said on the day we got married my mother said to me, if you ever feel your husband has been, unkind, or just a dick and you take solace in the arms or bed of someone else, just ask for forgiveness and sew a little sorry note and save it until you feel the time is right! Well the husband shed a little tear, hugged his wife and remarked, although they had their ups and downs in that 50 years he was feeling blessed she only felt the need to transgress once, he hugged his wife again and forgave her . But he said, what about the 25000 pounds? Well I made that by selling of the others!

Meant to add it's a WW1 memorial bronze

Today after 5 years hard work, a bronze cast statue has been completed in a little known foundry just 20miles away from me. completed in a little place called Chalford, Gloucestershire . this large piece of bronze is destined for the White House. hopefully when its unveiled in the near future you all can say Draygunnar gave us the news first rofl.

Ty for all the good wishes. Enjoying my birthday on holiday in Bulgaria and looking forward to a little more down time as my retirement officially starts today.

Well where has it gone? Let's hope 2024 brings a little more joy and peace to those innocent who are suffering at the hands of tyranny and greed.
