Windows 8 is not yet setup to support high end graffix cards. I play in eye infinity across three monitors so the uglyness is amplified. In fact steam is now moving to a linux platform because they are so disssatisfied with Windows 8. I also got a free copy of 8, and I installed it and had 14 difffferent driver issues. In there behalf I did install it 3 months beforre the release, hopefully they have those bugs worked out by now. The only real benifit of windows 8 is for touch screen computers or tablets.
