It seems we are rushing headlong towards a meltdown I am glad I now have "protection" in my house as, even in my super quiet neighborhood bad things happen. Just last year an older couple pulled into their driveway late at night and another car followed them into their drive and two men got out, beat and robbed them. The only reason they stopped is because an "unidentified" neighbor came out and let off a shot above their heads. We don't even have a police force in our town, relying on the county sherrif so they would have taken 20 minutes at least to get there (no, the neighbor wasn't me - I would have aimed a lot lower). Everyone knows who it was but no one is telling the cops as they will probably arrest him for being a hero This crap is going on everywhere and it seems to be getting worse all the time.
