Sorry I couldnt help you with your pc problem. Windows 7 on store pought pc's have certain features disabled and I still cant figure out how to enable "compatability files" view. Plus my state of mind didnt help much. I tend to ramble on and on :) Hope you get it going.

Under windows vista and windows 7 when you open up the activision file folder the compatibility view option should be visible on the menu bar at the top of the screen right next to view. Click it once and the hidden files will show.

His "compatibility view" button wasnt there. I looked to see if it was a view option and didnt see it. Weird.

Just try it in the old fasion way , just like xp, rigth mouse click and gow down, its works also in win 7
