I was on a journey to find cheap diamond magic crop seeds to buy, however on this journey I found this 1 base. The chests did not have signs on it and so I automatically tought the shop was gone. In addition i was able to break blocks and the entrance to the shop was broken. So by this point I though that the town was disbanded and the towny leader was done with the modpack. Also I did not know u cant "grief" un-claimed bases...in my perspective I was not thinking it was griefing, but more as a donation since I thought the leader was done playing. So I roamed around the base and took things I liked/wanted. However when I reached the underground area of the base, it looked already griefed. There were some machines here and there, but mostly wires with no ends. In addition the smelteries had holes in them. So after I grabbed the things I found I went home, dropped them off in my me and went to hot lady shop. I bought like 4-5 stacks of diamonds seeds and made a small farm in my base. Also before any1 tells me that griefing on un-claimed land is bannable and is announced in chat...I had no idea. The whole time iv'e only seen greifing on claimed or towny lands is bannable. To top it off, I am extremely sorry to the owner of the town, I has no idea he was still playing...his shop and town was down, so I thought he was done. I will never remake this mistake and I will receive all the items including (Magical crops & essence, machines, tesseracts, ores, windmills, solar panels, and capacitors)...and give it back to the hardworking player who truly should be mad at me. I also have no reason to be unbanned from this server after a horrible action I have done...but if was done, I will be forever in your mercy.
