For all your helpCry

ThanksObama.jpg

Four months before Obama finally begins to get media attention for inactivity in this crisis.

With Bush after Katrina it only took 4 days.

Not so sure that this might not be even worse than Katrina.

Its sad but not as bad as katrina to me, human life & property are not in danger, sealife, the beach and buisness are going to be a mess for a while, Im sure more animals lost thier life in katrina.  Just my opinion. I am also willing to bet that that very bird was pulled and washed off with dish soap and is probably doing alright. people are focused on making this look as bad as it can look.  Its amazing how most people in a crisys just bitch & complain and would probably not lift a finger to clean it up. hate to say it but, WE THE PEOPLE OF AMERICA are the source of this mess & WE should clean it up, its all of our faults, again in my opinion.

... and what about the Turtles, Fishes, Beach, environment, etc.!?

- What does BP do to stop it???

Tony Hayward(BP) / Robert Wine(BP-Spokesman):

Oh, this "experiment" does´nt work ... then we will think about it a few Days / weeks and try a few other things.

btw. Shit on this, Tony - it will be done in a few Month, but look at our monthly turnover, this looks good.

WOW, we will making more Money then in the last half year ...

W T F !!!

I´ve read this in a Newspaper, yesterday, could´nt believe what i was reading ...! Yell

Unbelievable!

IMO:

Not the Americans have to clean this up, BP has to do this, or they have to pay for everything what deals with it.

I will agree it is BP's fault for not having the proper safety measures in place which cost lives as well, I was more looking at the big picture, drilling where we drilled was just a matter of time before something happens BP or whomever, I meant as americans we rely on thier oil and we dont seem to be concerned until something happens, were the ones giving them all our $$. Hopefully this will wake up alot of people to the dangers of drilling and we put more strict measures in place to prevent it from happening again. Drilling in the gulf, so close to shore is a stupid move to me. Im sorry but im my mind there is no protocall for harnessing mother nature.

I agree, Its BP fault.  Leaving it up to large corperations to clean it up? Thats the goverments fault.  IF G W had his way, it would have been "drill baby drill"... and there would have been more natural disasters like this.

I also understand it is BP's fault and possibly the fault of government control systems if some failsafe or practice was ignored.

None of that takes away from the fact that the current administration basically turned a blind eye to the crisis until four month's after the fact when the media finally found the courage to begin to crticize the Obama administration for it's inactivity.

With Katrina the media was after Bush in less than four days.

IMHO it is the result of a primarily liberal mindset within the media.

Obama has received a much longer grace period than deserved.

Best rethink the property comment, this could prove to be disastorous for the economy of the effected states which will in turn impact property.

And yes there was mch loss of life and abandoment of animals in Katrina. My wife and I to this day have donated significant amounts to recommended animal shelters in the New Orleans area.

You may also sense from my posts I care more for the animals than for the people effected by Katrina. Enough said on that matter.

Rusty, just wanted to add this link as a resource in reference to your comment "I am also willing to bet that that very bird was pulled and washed off with dish soap and is probably doing alright." in a previous post.

It seems the survival rate, unfortunately, is only 1%, not very good.

I stand corrected, I did not mean to sound like I was against you, we all have our ways. I just saw a show hat showed how they were pulling birds and cleaning them, i did not see this.  shows how misleading tv is these days, thats sad to hear.

peace
