Gump You said single payer runs fine.What happens when you try multiplayer?,did you install the 1.3 patch? Yup, it say COD 2.exe has encountered a problem and cannot run, might have to try and find a new copy, fuck that should be easy to find,lol

Still, no go, installed in Compatibilty XP, as administrator. Talked to rockape, still cannot get it to work

Just bought new comp, win7. When I go and install COD2, I know don't use autorun, everything installs fine until I have to re-isert disc 1 , thats when it goes to shit. Single player is fine but everything else is fucked, I do not get the required screens on the last disk (1) finalization. Any ideas Thx TooT

Whats with the blanked out shit?? Pretty sure its 2, you may have a map conflict. You will have to go into COD2 main and find the maps and delete them -

Myself and Noddy had the same issue with the TDM server last weekend, had to go through the map packs one by one, found that it was caused by one bad map. Don't know if this is the problem or not, just a thought. -
