I have no idea why he is not updating that News section. Tried to talk to him and no word after that email. I can only think of what went wrong and nothing else. For now the game is working, but we have to find a host at our >XI< place, or at a home local, place. >XI< was always open to take things over, but communication is hard.

BUMP I would say that, I am sorry, but the Evolve one is clearly the future proof for now. Today, I was like, with the DDos event, missing out to start up XFire to contact or Rugger and sending a PM was hardly possible. By that time you don't think and to expect to have them on TS at the time, so you can only email them and wait. As of the latest reply of one of the Devs, I am sure that Evolve meets our new Xfire-style. Also, that the main Dev responded to me, says enough that they care(for now). There is nothing out there to replace XFire, seriously.

I am not removing it as the chats are still on my harddrive to look at. And 24Mb doesn't hurt me

TS IS NOT SAFE, period. (stupid poll)

Ps at TS: I can log in at once with how many computers I have ON OTHER ACOUNTS , Proxy/Spoof and other shit and all and good luck ignoring "me". With the other options of what programs we can use, you have to be a friend, period. Heard of something like "TunnelBear" or other(s)? I can fake my IP/ID/HardwareID/ re-run my old other computers. So easy to get on TS. Good luck with TS, password "crappy" and for future friends.

Yeah but you have to agree that with TS, you do not have a ingame popup. What if you are in a game and been Away From Keyboard, do you see it? Does TS, blink with a new message, or does it stay "blue" at your taskbar. TS is made to speak and chat, you can with a keyboard. I can make 1000 accounts and spam you with sub-chats and how can you stop me?

Problems, or not: 1. TS; a) To have to poke to get attention. You have to wait until the other side, has time. No ingame notification. c) If you are in TS, yes you might hear A(!) sound and with that how many chats can you handle with all those TABS(forming up), when someone wants to chat with you. d) ALT Tab-ing can cause crashes, memory leaks that when you go back into a game, it take 2 minutes to restore into a game. You are out of a game if you crash (with f.e. a Videocard driver crashed). e) Microphone most likely required. (check requirements 3 years ago, not needed but only for introduction). f) No response and that oher side dude/girl is leaving, feelings are hurt. True fact. g) You need to have a second monitor, to monitor TS activities. Especially for an Admin. h) You just DO NOT want to play and nothing on, but not a client like Evolve, .. <- a THIRD Party program. That; 2. a) You can run at work, if you can. Want to contact people outside a game. c) Type with them d) Making Video/Game capture. e) Not have to ALT TAB I gave some many things already in my early post, but no arguments, discussions or that can tell me, to answer them. It is like, hey, I like I said before. PROS AND CONS of all of them.

Just a side note, XFire always had the advertisements in the top, maybe you were used too it, but it was displayed there too. As for Evolve, it shows below in your friends menu. If I check preferences -> features: I see that my "voice" status is enabled via parties. I don't have friends or parties yet, but we have TS and I hardly used Mic in XFire in the past. Maybe once every 6 months,but I don't see a problem with that. And got some of my friends on my Skype already if I want to have a private talk. If you check Preferences, there is a lot in there and you can use Twitch too, but OSB is more my thing if I want to stream in the future. If you go to Preferences -> Accounts, you can hook Steam inside of Evolve or even Raptr, LMAO. Overall, Evolve is the winner for me, but only sad that you can't add a Nickname to it or change it.

That is not my argument. I mean that we always had Steam and Origin and XFire was a program besides those. There is also UPlay and others or even TS. My point is that we need a standalone client that is a XFire "lookalike" and the options we have had there. My main point is that there is a Poll now, but we hardly give feedback's form those options.

Ps: We can not have Steam only as some or all games aren't working from there. Sure you can shortcut to a game in there, but I wonder if that works the same. I see a downside of Evolve now. I already had an account from 2014 and I can not change my "XRayted" name to something else. Or I have to delete my account and make a new one.

Evolve is getting close as to my personal (!) favorite. I don't mind the advertisements as long they keep the service up. And you can minimize it to the taskbar. As for the Mic, well if you can't type(f.e. if you are sick) you can hook someone up at TS, but the main thing is to reach out when help is needed. I just don't want everything open like Steam or Origin if that game is not supported. And Xfire was good to have a separated program and to use that f.e. at work, as with TS not all of us can.

Why don't we all install those programs above and not focus on one program only. By that we all can leave the Pros and Cons listed and after that we make a Poll ? For now it seems that we aren't willing to test them out, and just hit the Poll checker mark, and leave the others out. We hardly care about the layout(user interface) of the programs, but we need to focus on the things that is needed for us. 1. Add/remove/ignore/block friends. 2. Groups (not really needed) 3. Able to change name to recognize other members 4. Able to set your self Online/Busy/AFK/Offline 5. Able to talk to person by chat or chat+Microphone(+cam for HXTR). 6. Able to record game video's, but not for detection of Cheaters(other programs can handle that or ingame recording) 7. -- (offline messages) 8. -- (message of today) 9. -- ( ) 10.- ( ) So please do a favor for >XI< and install those programs above and make a Pros and Cons of those programs you tested. Ah yeah, Dean at work

A lot of work and progress has and have been made. At this moment the damage controls and all is improved and close to what we wanted. Just to be clear that no one should be banned now, but players can still be randomly get kicked from the server. Just rejoin. We will have a "new" tool, but we don't want to rush right now. We go through option to use as a replacement for XFire. Something that can be used and when people want to interact with our >XI< members and guests. So, do not think that something will be coming quick, as that is seldom a good choice in our lives I would like Evolve personally, but we will see. Meanwhile we have our website and people can PM if needed or for a social contact right now and the shoutbox.

Yeah took me 3 days as my internet went down in between. It is just sitting there in my "backup" folder somewhere. I wished this service was there before as some video's are deleted on some profiles that was worth saving them.
