Old >XI< like 2Cutesue passing away. It just breaks my heart to see them go, I still watch once per year those Killa Youtubes. With 10+ years at >XI< I still like to reach 20+ with >XI<. I'd never ever use programs like these. I use CCleaner sometimes to check "auto startup" items in those three tabs. Wise Auto Shutdown can be handy, but you have to have a third party Firewall. The amount of traffic goes through all kinds in Startup, well you don't control your Software and your own PC anymore. Be carefull what you install, even AMD or NVidia tools.

You have to look at the power supply, a 1050 does not require any power input and can run games fine. For example a 750Ti 2GB is equal to a HD7850 2GB and can run most games at medium settings. A 1050 will do the same. So, check out the power output of your PSU and budget. There will be soon a 1070Ti out on the market. Rumors are that you can't overclock them. But, who does that anyways to get 10 or 15 more FPS? I don't and will hurt my wallet anyways. Anyways, do not SLi or Crossfire anymore if you think to plan that. Worst case issue is that you are better off to sell the old card and upgrade. A nice card would be a 4GB videocard, but you can be in peace with a good 1050 or a 1070.

Yes, I am the one who got the first or second from @JNashvilleXI and I really thank him so much more that I can through my keyboard. The reason is that, check 'vacation or personal' section, that I was out for a bit. Been going through health situations and by that the "own risk" bills that our government needs. One of those posts and I loved it @@hxtr. It takes balls to do it and it is even in the general section. We all do our best as in members and admins or even our guests to see what XI inside really is. Sometimes, when I see and application rolling into my mailbox, it is just great to read. And most of them are not even game related or more about how much fun it is to join our members to play with. And as in conflicts, we talk it out in the best way we can and move on. Geez, I could get rich if I sell stuff on Ebay or Amazon or what ever. But, if you are willing to spend 300 bucks on a CPU, just save your money. Those prices are plain stupid high and for a few dollars more you can get the 6th generation of Intel. I heard Micro Center is good and as Mule said, don't go there if you have hardly a budget, because you end up with a loan AMD right now, is a NAY. I can look for you for a nice set?
