Two thumbs up on the hardcore map choice. And kudos for sticking around for some power struggle. Besides for sabreeyes and arcanage, I know you guys probably aren't particulary fond of PS, so my hat goes off to a class act. It was a pleasure and I'd like to do it again...maybe with a second dose of HC

I say HC in XI for round one and PS in OSF for round two. We can do any PS map you guys want. Just name it and we'll load it. How's that sound?

y'all should connect to !=OSF= Power Struggle! to make sure there's no PB issues that come up during the game this Sunday. Connect to the server in 32 bit and type PB_SECURITY 0 in your console to update PB....sabreeyes had the 64 bit issue.

icomrade is saying he might not be available until later in the afternoon...like 4 or 5 central we're probably going to be light on players, as many have quit Crysis for Battle Company. So far, we have 4 confirmed participants (me, chachi, ktyson, and icomrade) but a much larger group is still possible if my persuasion skills are up for the task.

I came for the autoexec.cfg instructions...this is useful, thank you. However, while I was here, I came across a couple things that weren't mentioned. In the weapon section, you say the scar is the most effective. I agree with this, but like you said, there are situations in which the FY71 are superior (you pointed out reload time). I would like to add that the FY71's draw time is far superior to that of the scar, making it the ideal weapon for when you need to jump out of a truck and start shooting immediately. Also, silencers do decrease damage...not sure if that was mentioned. Great guide.

Sounds good. I understand the situation and realize that not everyone can be pleased.

I don't expect my opinion to be worth very much, but I just wanted to give a thumbs down to many of the HC maps featuring tanks and aircraft. Still some really cool new/unfinished maps I'm seeing which get a thumbs up, but I feel as though vehicles take away from the essence of hardcore, which is toe-to-toe pistoling with a huge emphasis on knee-jerk type lightening fast reaction times. Maps like rooftop (from the last tourney) and that awesome halo one (from the tourney qualification period) are what make HC fucking awesome to me. In short - down with tanks.

I have sent the following: Dear sir or madam, Being a die-hard fan of Crysis and Crysis Wars since before they were released, I am deeply concerned about the fact that the demo will not be available first to PC gamers. I've pre-ordered my copy of Crysis 2 months ago and would like to think my support for the game should be acknowledged by being able to be among the first to give feedback on how we think the multiplayer element of the game should feel. There's just enough time for one more tourney before Crysis 2. Crysis Wars is in dire need of another XI tourney, as it's dead as fuck right now. You guys did a great job on setting up the last tournament and it was a thrill to take part in. I know prizes and shipping cost money, so I'd be more than happy to compete just for the opportunity to get some prestige/bragging rights...say a headline on the front page of your site announcing the top 5 winners? I know FALCO and Chachi_wan are game.
