X-RayXI Some servers can be having a strong "anti cheat" system on their servers. They check if your files are in order or kick you out. Not that you are cheating with settings, but they like more of a stock player with no settings, edits like graphics. When you got kicked, use the tilde key ` to bring up your console and you mostly see the reason why with a number. (or make a screenshot). Btw.. make a new post what maps you like or mods. Only if you wannA! Yeah I brought up the command prompt and it gave no indication of what I was being kicked for. Nor did it say it was scanning my files, which do have modified graphics and gameplay settings. Oh well. I only play there because nobady is ever on the XI servers!!! Come on people!

Ok so when I'm not playing in the XI servers, I prefer to play in levels with vehicles and aircrafts. So for a while my personal favorite was "-M- Myrmidons Battleground" server. But as of late I have been getting kicked from the server! Its not punkbuster protected or anything. I can't imagine why I would be banned from the server? I've only played in that server a handful of times. This is really bothering me as the server's map is always Battleground and it's my favorite! Please help me out as to why I may be getting kicked.

X-ray I think you're confusing that with the Off-Roading one by Cobrys. There's a giant chicken in that one I believe?

Ok I've come to the conclusion that this mic is just a P.O.S. the audio quality is okay, but the mic must be busted. Thanks for the quick responses though. I will have to buy a new one I guess.

I have done all of this. Multiple times. I have updated my drivers several times as well. Maybe my Mic jack on my case is busted? Or the Mic on the headphones don't work lol. Well I'll try it all again. Oh and of course I looked on google already! Silly geese. Thanks though everyone.

Well it didn't work. I am a pc noob so can someone please give me some step by step headset hookup for dummies help? I have Xfire too and don't know how to use chat in that either. My main issue is my pc not picking up the headset when I plug it into the 3.5mm jacks.

St33l What you need to do is set your microphone as default. Go to Control Panel - Sound - Recording; Then right click your headset microphone(Should be labeled as the headset maker) and select Set as Default Device. Thank you so much. I was getting really frustrated with it. That seemed to do it. It wouldn't recognize it through the 3.5mm jacks, but when I used the USB adapter it picked it up. I'll go see if it worked!

Gump Are you using the 3.5mm mic jacks or the usb adapter?The usb mic will run on it's own internal sound card and not through the x-fi sound card. I'm using the 3.5mm on the front of my NZXT Tempest case. Both the mic and headphone jacks.

Hi, so I have a logitech notebook headset which comes with a usb adapter, but also the standard mic and heaphone jacks. I have windows7 64bit and a Creative Sounblaster X-Fi Xtreme Gamer sound card. Idk what the deal is but I can't get my mic to work in game. I press the Alt key and my name w/ the little speaker pops up but nobody can hear me, also I can only hear people at random. Oh and I also have Xfire and if someone could walk me through chat setup that would be great. Oh and I have checked my Sound in Control Panel and cranked up the sensetivity and volume levels. I am a PC gaming noob and can really use some help. Thanks.
