We have seen some of that already but we have had some issues with server performance so the thought has been to maintain the latest builds of the mods in hopes for improvements.

I know many folks have requested me to link what texture packs I use and would recommend to new players, here is what I use! For Feed the Beast I prefer the 128x Sphax MC16 and the Sphax pack for FTB http://adf.ly/564553/spbdc-128-mc16 http://bdcraft.net/community/pbdc-patches-rel-packs/yogscast-complete-pack-t2859.html For Regular Minecraft I always use Sphax as well: http://bdcraft.net/purebdcraft-minecraft What texture packs do you guys enjoy?

Just an FYI, do not install the new ICBM mod. We will not be adding it to the server and it seems to cause the issues with Minecraft crashing right after loading the world.

I am working on it. I was able to get the server up and running after a rollback. I still blame that wanker Chappie. I am just finishing some repairs, I will have it back up in a min.

FYI to all Minecraft players and donators. First we want to say thank you to everyone that has helped us make the Minecraft servers great. I also want to thank everyone that has been able to donate so far, without you guys we could not keep the servers running! We will be going through quite a few changes starting today. Many of our changes are in response to Mojang making changes to the EULA. The changes we are making to be compliant are not all bad changes, but they have to be made. First thing you will notice is we no longer have access to spawn many of the kits like we used to have. We have it setup so that everyone has the same kits available, food, tools and coal. No one will be able to pickup place or manipulate spawners. They have made things far too easy and really taken the challenge out of the market or user markets. We have increased the number of home points that all donator ranks can set (We are also considering a name change to the ranks, but that is only in name). Coal gets 4 Iron gets 6 Gold gets 8 Diamond gets 12 Emerald gets 20 We are giving larger bonus' of Towny plots with Diamond and Emerald. You now get 25 with Diamond rank and 50 for Emerald. Towny plots are great for protecting your buildings, we also sell them in the web store! We have increased the rewards for Voting, right now I have it set to give $5k in-game and 3 diamonds. This will get our servers out there and hopefully continue to grow the servers. I have setup voting for each server, they are separate, so if you use the FTB server, help us out there too! Ideas I have so far that I think would be cool (I have not implemented them yet, I would like community involvement to see what you guys want) pets (either the ability to pay money for them or earn them from donation ranks) Different color options for names, signs, etc. The ability to use the nickname command Many of these changes have already gone into effect on the web store http://minecraft.xtremeidiots.com/ That is all for today. Thanks bro, I will look into it. We have also been looking at what mods we can trim out as well. One of the main reasons we are considering a new world is that there is a known issue in 1.6.x that the world is almost entirely ocean. Nothing can be done about that. The only solution is to generate a world in an older version of Feed the beast and import it. The world I loaded in earlier looks like it does not have some of the mods that we really like, such as fortresses and other random dungeon spawns. So we are still working on our "new world" Hope to see you all in game!

I generated a new world in FTB to see if we have less world generation issues at all with a map created in an older version of MC. We will allow players to setup or move to the new world.We are thinking we want to use the new world as the primary. Feel free to setup shop there. Let me know what you think! Commands needed: /mv tp new_world our regular world is /mv tp world If we do decide to move to the new world permanently I will make it the default and provide some force wrenches to move inventories Cheers!

Yeah, I am having the same issue now as well. So it is only a matter of time before they fix it. I will check out the forums for AT Launcher.

I guess Chappie had the same issue yesterday, we were able to do a full uninstall and re install so that AT Launcher was running from a single folder, not just randomly in your download folder.......

The instance also now says you need to use Java 7 u65, you should remove all versions of Java. Download and install the x86 and x64 version of 7 u65. Let me know when you have tried that.

Try again, I moved you a 1000 blocks away now.... Also, try a uninstall of all Java 1.8
