Shouldn't we just do a vote to all of XI and make a decision if the server should stay or go? We can debate this for weeks and I feel like all we have managed to do is treat each other like shit and not really accomplish anything useful. At the end of the day all that matters is that we are all idiots and the important thing is how we treat each other. Having a difference in opinion is great but when one guy starts cussing out another guy no one wins. We are here to play some games, not be assholes to each other. Lets end this pissing match, close this fucking thread and move on with our lives. @ would you do the honors?

I have zero respect for someone who can't abide by our code of conduct, I don't care if you have been a clan member for a week or 6+ years, if you can't treat others with respect then you don't deserve to have an opinion or tags.

I am really disappointed in the amount of disrespect and how you have turned this thread into a personal attack against an Admin who devotes all of his free time into making the servers a great place for the clan and our players. I expect more out of our clan members and players than this. Maybe you need to be reminded of a few things: XI is an adult clan with no prohibitions on use of language except for two primary rules: no racist remarks, and no personal attacks. You need to check your sensitive feelings at the door when you come here: if you don't like it, don't look at it or don't comment on it. If you believe someone has broken one of our rules, let an admin know and we will take action as needed. We also do not tolerate cheating or disrespect by members or guests, and insist on good sportsmanship. Violations can lead to permanent bans. We play for fun, we play with honor, and we strive to treat each other with respect and consideration. No one, member or guest, is above our Code.

What do you mean? You can still get the server jars for Minecraft 1.7.x and you can still download every single plugin ever made for Bukkit and Spigot, you just can't directly download new builds of Bukkit of Spigot. That does not prevent the versions everyone is already running from working. That does not prevent servers from working with plugins just fine if they did not upgrade to 1.8 already.

From what I see what happens now is the folks that used to only get on and populate the US Softcore servers started playing on the US hardcore server, but the difference is once they leave for the day that server fails to stay populated.So now you have two empty servers and the EU players are sleeping. if we get a few guys / admins every day on the US Softcore server I know we will have no issue getting it populated. I used to always help by logging on the US Softcore server before I left for work, it would not kick for idle until we had over a certain number. I would be more than willing to do this again if it meant that the US Softcore server could stick to 64 players and help out the community. What might be a good compromise for shutting down the US Hardcore server is take some of the features / rules that folks like from the US Hardcore server and implement them on the EU Hardcore server. If a server stays on 1.7.x until all of this bukkit stuff blows over this is the replacement for Bukkit: http://www.spongepowered.org/ Currently all of the plugins that have been available for 1.7.x are still working on 1.7.x and many of them plan to move to the new platform (or at least they are beginning to pledge to it now)

I support getting rid of the US Hardcore server, but I want the slots to stay at 64 on the US Softcore server.

I saw that last night. I still love the founders comment awhile back. We will see after they offer to write him a check for $2 BILLLION DOLLARS MUHAHAHAHAAHAH

@@Sitting-Duc This is why we can't have nice things..... http://cauldron.minecraftforge.net/ We use on cauldron on FTB and unless they keep Bukkit alive for vanilla this is kinda of a big deal. Oh well, I guess we just have to wait and see what they do. But as it is they have shutdown cauldron....

Yeah, legally shit hit the fan with bukkit, spigot, etc. This is a huge mess.
