@@Unchileno I personally think if your kid goews head first down some stairs that it is the parents fault for not paying close enough attention. when they are babies youre supposed to be aware of what they are doing right? I just don't understand why is CA the only place to do such a thing? they aren't the only babies with walkers that get hurt lol.

Ok so I ran across this on the web and figured I would ask the people from Canada in our clan. Are Baby Walkers really banned in CA? They are banned from retail stores being sold at garage sales, flea markets or on street corners. it is also illegal to import, or advertise them for sale And if you have one in your house it is frowned upon and you should burn it so it cant be used again. The reason being is because the babies hurt themselves for example they fall down stairs or the burn themselves on ovens. They also said that it doesn't teach babies how to walk. So anyone here from CA that can help clarify this, it would be greatly appreciated!

@ this has actually been going on since last winter. I have friends that did it in February when it was freezing out.

@@Gatorgirl I did see something that is now pulling at me now. Is really only like 8% of everyone's donations only going to research? if that is true that is wrong. that's why everyone is donating. that is why ALSA has seen a 1000% increase in donations because they want to see not necessarily a cure but a change, some type of prevention. I really hope that ALSA is not being greedy like that. I understand they have to pay their employees and everything. BUT every other cent should be used for research. If you could help me by finding out whether this is all true or just a farce.

I think its a great cause with the money maybe they can maybe not find a cure. but maybe find out what causes it and then see what they can do to prevent it. I honestly didn't know what it was till I saw people doing the challenge. This disease is a terrible thing. I wanna say as worse if not worse than cancer.

So i was nominated today to do the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. I am also going to donate $10 to www.alsa.org . So i then decided that i was going to nominate all of my family. AKA all of you via Xtreme Idiots Facebook page. you now have 24 hours to do the challenge.

I had an 02 escape. and I loved mine. maybe it was because it was my first car. but it handled really well. I even did the not recommended donuts in it lol. and she never tried to tip or anything. tthey have great pick up and go. like what @@Leadfinger said they handle really well at 100+ speeds. I have also replaced few things on it Escapes really are not hard to work on at all.
