May 18, 1980. I remember camping on this mountain a year before it erupted. The day it erupted, we were living in Tacoma, Washington. It was a Sunday morning, the ground tremored, and we heard a loud explosion, we looked to our southeast and the ash was so high, it blocked the sun, The gasses were so hot , the mountain created its own lightning. It was bright red. After that we had to wear bandanas to prevent us from breathing the ash as it lingered for days!

The Birth Of A Candy Bar.....A Little Naughty But Cute Joke One "Pay-Day," "Mr. Peanut" wanted a "Bit-O-Honey," so he took "Mary Jane" behind the "Power House" on the corner of "Clark" and "Fifth Avenue". He began to feel her "Mounds" and that was pure "Almond Joy" for him and it made her "Tootsie Roll." He let out some "Snickers" as his "Butterfinger" went up her "Juicy Fruit" and caused a "Milky Way". She screamed and grabbed his "Peter Paul" and "Zagnuts". "Mary Jane" said, "You are better than the 'Three Musketeers'". Soon she was a bit "Chunky" and nine months later she had a "Baby Ruth".

The GE AC4400 are a pain in the ass, somehow dirt or debris gets into the air ducts of the phase modules and cause them to go bad! GE needs to modify the problem.

@2_MANY_BEERS, as far as I know, EMD manufactures engines for locomotives, the engines I have pictured are EMD for an SD-40 locomotive. GE also manufactures engines for locomotives. These are 3000 horsepower.
