first, u can check in the device manager if there is a pb pointed out by a yellow triangle with an exclamation point next to a device. I checked the device manager and no issues in there - no yellow triangle with exclamation point - no orange triangle. Then, you can try to fix it by changing the resolution of your monitor if not optimized (right clic on your desk / Display parameters / Recommended resolution) Currently on recommended resolution. You can also test your memory modules with memtest86 to know if they are OK or not but it takes a long time. So it is more convenient to launch the test during the night. Choose the freeware. Downloaded the program but not sure how to use it. Will figure it out and run at night. First u can check if the card correctly works by executing a "dxdiag" test. Right click on the windows logo then select "execute" and type dxdiag in the windows then enter. A window will open. Click on the display tab concerning the graphics card. You'll see in this window if your card works correctly. I executed the test and my video card is working properly. But firstly, u should check if you have the last update of its driver? Updated driver yesterday 3/27/19. Hopefully, it won't be the hard disk! To check, u can do that: https://www.thewindowsclub.com/hard-disk-drive-health Ran the program and both HD's showed up as ok. And then, it could be the power supply or the CPU... Is there any way to test this? The only thing left that I didn't check...... Ok.....I was just in game for 2 hours without a problem until *poof* I CRASHED! I ran the Whocrashed Program as soon as it booted up and this is what I got: Crash dumps are enabled on your computer. No....it happens in COD5 as well. Yes, when I'm in game for awhile. Not when I'm on internet or watching movies on my PC. Game freezes up for 1 min, then black screen, then monitor reboots up again and I have to sign into my computer to continue what I was doing.....but like I said before, the PC tower NEVER shuts down.

Hi VHS2, I will d/l this program when I get home from work. I hope it helps as well in finding out how to resolve my problem. Like I stated above, my PC does not crash, it stays on the whole time, the game freezes up, then a black screen, then it restarts again for me to log into my pc but the computer never goes down.....Thanks so much for your input! Well, so much for that. I uninstalled/reinstalled my TS and it still crashed. Then, I tried playing without being on TS and I crashed as well. I will keep trying different things to see if this issue can be resolved, otherwise, it's very discouraging to game like this. Kind of makes you not want to even try.

Vice versa, correct? I will check it when I get home. My best bet is to uninstall current TS client and reinstall 64 bit as that's compatible with my pc. Thank you for all your help Angelz and EVERYONE else that responded to my S.O.S.

I just thought of something else, while I'm sitting here at work (supposedly working lol) and it dawned on me that it began happening when I started using TS. Could it be that? I had that issue with my old computer when I used TS and it crashed my game. What I will try to do is when I get home from work, uninstall TS and reinstall it again and see what happens. It can't hurt, right? ?

Yes that is my PC. I ran the Diagnostics scan both mini and full test and my PC made it with flying colors. No issues it passed all the tests. All my drivers were up-to-date. So frustrating....

My computer is about 6 months old. I did take off the side door and pointed a fan into the tower but it still happens. It is not dusty inside the tower either. It just better not be my video card! I'll scream!! Thanks for the suggestions Zappy!

I am having issues with my PC. When I play COD4, after being on for awhile, it varies, my PC crashes. When I say crashes, the computer never shuts down. My monitor goes black then reboots itself for me to log on again to get onto the internet and it 999's me in game. Does anyone have any idea as to what's going on and how I can fix it because it's so annoying and driving me nuts...…!!! Please help me......?
