Maxout: Best was 355 but 330 at the moment.

    Reps:

    Deadlift

Maxout: Best was 606 but around 540 at the moment. Did 507 beltless last month, first time over 500 in two years after buggering right hip lol.

    Reps:

Squat Did 405 beltless years ago but left knee plays up whenever I go heavy so haven't pushed them in a long time.

    Maxout:

Would reiterate what Hoth said, avoiding injury is everything. Always better to take a few steps back and reassess if things don't feel right or aren't going according to plan. If you don't do much stretching or mobility work start now.

Also, here is Julius Maddox setting the new raw bench world record at the weekend and then nearly killing himself afterwards lol (he was ok though)

Thanks Sharpe, I only try bench press maxouts if I have a strong enough spotter with me. I workout every day I don't get sore often, If I do get sore I take cold baths/Ice the area that is sore. Thanks Sharpe for the advice and for your post.

    Max out: not sure

I still dead lift and squat as well. Maxes I have no idea.

The thing to realize most of us older guys are mainly into maintenance mode now a days. Great job and keep putting in the work young man. The key is consistency. Even on days when you feel like shit is when you can get some of the most rewarding workouts. Form and quality reps will help from getting injured. I've had a few over the years. Take about a week off every 3-6 months really helps with burnout as well.

Thanks, I started lifting 3 months ago and I have not stopped, thanks for your post!

  3. Hi my name is Ge Ge (its pronounced like gg) i'm 17 years old and i'm from North Carolina. I know I'm not 18, but I will be turning 18 on November 16. I play a lot of games, like Cod 4, League Of Legends, Minecraft, MW3, Garrys mod and many more. The main reason on why I want to become a XI clan member is to avoid getting kicked on Cod 4. I usually top frag on Cod 4 freeze tag but I always get kicked to make room for clan members. It really annoying when you are on the top of the leader board and randomly get kicked for not being a clan member. Thanks for reading my introduction, I hope to see you in freeze tag. ?
