  1. In the console it would be "/r_drawDecals <0 or 1>"
  2. You're very welcome! If you'd like to test it out, I've opened the 1.7 server on port 28970. The bots are running around, lol
  3. Just got back from Walmart and tested it, lol. Heli works here too!
  4. If the heli is the only problem, then it's still a great success! hahaha
  5. unfortunately, it spawns instantly(doesn't fly in), sticks around for ~5-10secs, then flies off But hey, it's different! Could be cod4x, I will spin up my windows machine and test with 1.7server Same on 1.7
  6. updated and running on my test server, gonna test now
  7. He fixed the roof and is working on the heli path, just need to download the new changes and reupload to server nvm already replied, lmao
  8. Ok, it is up: 67.211.202.180:28965
  9. Linux version of 1.7 dedicated is a pain in the ass, lol....got it to run but loading a mod is not going well... Setting up a new cod4x server to test, that you can join, and I can make you an admin.... that's not on the public list. Last few config to go then it should be ready. (~10min)
  10. Yes, that's exactly what it looks like
  11. Use RCON command scr_testclients "x". Then I just run around and kill them to get streaks. With COD4x/OW2 (at least the version I have), the bots just stand there and do nothing until they randomly go spectate. With 1.7/OW2, they actually shimmy around and fire their weapon in random directions. Have not gotten around to setting up a 1.7 server on my VM server, as of yet, lol.
  12. Confirmed, roof fixed! . Tried a heli, hangs around long enough to kill one, then flies off.
  13. I think I was so amazed at the escalators (that I forgot to mention earlier). Riding them up and down, lmao!
  14. You know what I just noticed when testing again? The open area of the roof blocks air based streaks. Seems the roof is just a clear solid XD, noticed when I tested a care package. Running around so much last night that I wasn't really paying attention to the actual strike zone, my apologies.
  15. Looks great! Love the shop names, lol. Loaded it up in my server (COD4x/OW2 v1.45), spawned 30 test clients, and ran around. Everyone spawned correctly, the hardpoints I tested worked as intended, and fast restart works as it should. Overall, very nice work!
  16. cod4x needs the 1.7 executable, or it will throw an "impure" error. Just FYI, if anyone finds themselves in that situation, lol. I found that out yesterday, when installing cod4 on my laptop through Steam. Also, in the future, it can be downloaded from here... https://cod4redirect.robnet.co:6561/other/iw3mp17.zip
  17. Nice!
  18. Found something probably expected, since it is only a preview, lol. Performing a map fast restart crashes server "script runtime error...type undefined is not a vector"
  19. Ya, I just found where they go back up, hahahaha!
  20. Very nice! Tested on CoD4x server and works great Can you make the boxes squish you when they spawn and somebody is hiding under them? Fucking campers, lmao!
  21. 1440p @180Hz uses 70% of available bandwidth for DP 1.4 (HDR increases to 86%). By going with HDMI you are losing out on 36Hz of refresh rate for no reason. What you read on the specs (for that monitor) is just HDMI marketing BS. Besides TMDS (which helps with long cable runs), there is really no tangible benefit over DP. They added/updated features in HDMI 2.1 that DP already supported for quite a while, lol (think in the realm of apple v android). Yes, more bandwidth...but when you have a 1440p monitor maxed to 144Hz, there is literally 3 times as much bandwidth available as you really need.... Then the question is, why the heck doesn't it support 180Hz over HDMI if there is all that bandwidth? The answer? HDMI sucks, lol!
  22. It depends on 3 things. Your video card, your cable, and your monitor. All 3 must support DP v2.1. Your link speed will fall to the lowest supported rate of those 3 items. From what I remember from previous posts you have a RTX5070, which does support DP/HDMI v2.1 Did you end up getting the Omen 27q or 27qs? or something else? Both of those only support up to DP v1.4/HDMI v2.0 (I have the Omen 27qs as my primary monitor) Ahh, I just remembered....I knew I was forgetting something.... DSC (Display Stream Compression). Using this compression you could send higher resolution/refresh rates that aren't technically allowed via the raw bandwidth limits. I could see someone saying that that's not "real DP v2.1", which technically, it isn't. The RTX5070 definitely supports this, I do believe the 27qs supports it as well...As example, If you have a 1440p @240Hz monitor with HDR enabled, that requires ~26.5Gbps of bandwidth...with overhead it ends up a little over 32.4Gbps and you would enter into DSC mode (which may cause issues like flickering or stuttering). Without HDR would be about 19.5Gbps which would not enter into DSC mode. Now putting the pieces together from issues in your recent posts regarding gameplay issues...If you have HDR enabled and using the full 240Hz on a 27q(s) (or other DP1.4 1440p 240Hz+ monitor) then that may be your issue...try turning off HDR... And pardon my Autism....I keep writing and re-writing in my head and can never settle on the "perfect" answer, if there is such a thing, lmao!
  23. Here's the download page GPU-Z Graphics Card GPU Information Utility
  24. GPU-Z will show current link speed in the 'Advanced' tab Edit: Just noticed that it doesn't show my secondary monitor connected via HDMI in that section. So maybe it only displays info for DP connections....or the fact that my 2nd monitor is very old and uses a DVI to HDMI cable.... Edit2: Just to be clear, in my screenshot it shows 8.1gbps link speed...but also important to know that that's for each lane...since there are 4 lanes it's a total bandwidth of 32.4gbps or DP v1.4. So be sure to multiply your link speed by the number of lanes to get your total bandwidth.
