It's a nice place. Where the apartment is sits behind a nature reserve so it's ALMOST like living in the country which I like. Nice big forested valley. Gotta get used to the water though, so many minerals in it that you can see them collect on the bottom of your glass. It's a big adjustment from living in St. Louis all my life.

It's been a hell of a last three years. First my Mom passes away on March 18th, 2015. Then my Dad passes away 5 days after my birthday last year. I've had to pick up my life from St. Louis and move to Peoria, Illinois. I'm hoping to be settled here in my own place soon, currently sharing an apartment with my brother. If all goes well in the next month or two, I'll have a new apartment and a whole new PC geared towards gaming, graphic design, photography and video editing. I'm looking to sink a couple grand into it. So with any luck, I'll be back to dying lots and listening to @Bogleg, @google and @Dukoo bitch about being killed all the time.

I'm sorry to hear this, Skull. I feel your pain all too well as I lost my Dad on April 28th and my Mom on Feb 16, 2015. It's a pain that none of us should have to feel so soon. Hang in there!

I know I've already told you, but thank you so much for making this post for me, Mandy! You've been my rock and an incredible source of strength to me and I am forever grateful! I want to thank the rest of you for your thoughts, prayers and kind words. My Dad, Brother and I have a LONG next few days ahead of us. I know I haven't been around but I'm hoping one day I'll figure out why my game doesn't work and be back.

Okay... it's still causing my computer to freeze. I will try the Vista SP2 tonight at some point. I even tried uninstalling, reinstalling and stepping through the process of updating both the game and PB. Downloaded DirectX 10 and 11, just in case 9 is not cutting it anymore or not able to keep up with my with my GC. I know my GV gets warm, but there is no way that CoD4 is causing the system to lock up due to overheating when I'm playing other, more graphic intensive games like World of Tanks, Assassin's Creed 4 and Batman Arkham Origins. I am not overclocking anything. I WANNA PLAY DAMMIT! I can't go for more than 3 or 4 rounds before it locks on me.

@@Bombshell - Duly noted! I'll make sure to check my fire when we're on opposing teams. I should get you a name tag for your uniform! @@Sammy - I always forget about that, I changed those settings and will give it a try tomorrow.

Didn't have any problems prior to January when I got some malware on my system. Tried to clean it, but something went wrong during one of the scans I was running and I lost EVERYTHING. So I figured this was a good time to upgrade to Win7 64-bit. Installed the game, updated all the patches. Made sure punkbuster was all up to date. But now, when I play for a bit my whole system will freeze up. I've closed down all unneeded processes running in the background. I can play World of Tanks for hours with no problems and that is a much more graphic intensive game and resource hog. So I highly doubt that's the issue. If anyone has any suggestions on what I could try, I'm all ears.

I'm going to start working on my graphic design skills aside from my classwork. I'm working on a Minion poster now, building "him" from shapes in Illustrator. Should be fun! I'm also going to make one of these below for each of the Doctors in the upcoming special on Nov 23rd.

What kind of modifications can you make to the server? I was going to suggest shortening the hiding time to like 30 seconds and increasing or eliminating the seeking time. Especially when there are just a couple of people playing on the server. Other than that, I love the options we have when hiding. If this is the same mod I've played before, they've added a lot of nice features since I've played it.

Well turn them into a SSD with this little gadget.
