I noticed your concern is with a good mobo for you vid card, might also consider a mobo that is compatible with your CPU and memory also, unless you plan on a new CPU and memory too.

I am going to Quakecon and want to host a freeze tag cod4 server for the lan in case there isn't anyone else hosting a freeze server, anyone care to help me out as to how to go about doing this?

How about removing the CPU just to check if any of the pins are bent, there are a lot of them and it may have been possible that one of them is bent, look real close, ya never know.

I agree with X-Ray as far as resetting the CMOS, I flashed my bios for a cpu upgrade also and had the same problem until I reset the CMOS

I somewhat understand why you guys don't want other clans recruiting on your servers, but, if one is in a clan and one doesn't have a server of his or her chosen game to play then one would think that the only likely place to find new members would be on public server, like yours, so to not allow anyone to even ask someone playing on your server with no clan tag to join ones clan seems rather unfair? I mean how else are you supposed to find new clan members if not on the servers one plays? I'm sure I'll get a response similar to "If you want clan members get your own server and recruit them there" I really don't think the COD4 freezetag community is big enough to support another server, there are plently that just sit there with no players already, but anyway, I just thought I'd voice my 2 cents.

Next week is Quakecon and I was just wondering if any of you are going? It is in Dallas TX and since I live there I will probably at least be going during the evenings, I usually do the byoc but I don't think I will this year, not enough people I actually know are going.
