Timmah sounds more like dirty wall socket power. best use a UPS that has voltage regulation and enough wattage to carry your load, about 3-5 yrs to replace battery's cost about $ 90-140 depends on your model. this is a added bonus for prevention of file corruption other is wrong driver loaded or out dated for your hardware

BEFORE any (hacks) importing make a back-up while in REGEDIT open File on task bar then select Export.....to flash drive or folder you want to keep the virgin registry, if you mess up can go back to where you was and name it virgin DATE. after importing a new hack back that up to the hack name sure make life easier not re FORMAT DRIVE and reinstall all your apps and data.

yes right click game ICON and check the address of file, re-link to desk top with correct drive or copy the good known game folder to a new drive space and make a short cut -
other question is this a wireless mouse? if so may check the firmware of USB transmitter/receiver from logitech.

open the walls and use baking soda to curb mold, after dried out then use a vacuum cleaner with a HEPA filter to clean up the baking soda then spray anti-mold paint on the effected areas or just cut out the damaged drywall. -
na dip it in mineral oil and use fans to circulate the oil in a fish tank LoL extreme cooling
