Well back about 14 yrs ago ... COX cable had just came out with cabled internet... Oh wow gotta have this..... since at that time I think I had a 56k modem.... LOL.... and AOL had those promo disks everywhere (1000 hrs free internet disks) And COX had advertized there internet speeds (seemed like) A billion times faster than anything you could get... That became a must get this item.... So COX has to send out a tech to install cable and efernet card to my computer.... As he is workin along he says he is going to need a login name, a name for email addy and password... so I look to my X and say to her... any good ideas? Well as she is calling out random words like butt head ... exc. In the mean time I had this cat... Chief we called him.... Well he used to like sitting on my desk and would just watch me do stuff... Chief is starting to get in the techs way so I call out CHIEEEF at the same moment my X blurts out B.S.er ... short for someone who will say anything..... bull shiter (AOL chat) ring a bell? The tech started to chuckle and says ChiefBSr that's to cool .... To this day I still get that same chuckle from other people when they notice what my nickname really says

I set up the new config... all my drivers are up to date... but when i play it feels like my player is drunk... i notice my cpu is running at 100% and when i first start a game it is at 95% ... I just got kicked off our server? My ping is high also like around 200. Any suggestions

Zoe... I live in Las Vegas... may i suggest the AAA automobile club of southern californa has a travel guide and very well known across the country. well he had seven.zip and it didnt recognize so i had him dl win.zip and same result he then tried ti di evenbal.. again and same thing so if he reinstalls whole game which files does he need to copy to his desktop so all of his achievements are not lost

I am helping out a friend that has installed COD4 on his computer... He did not install Punk Buster. So we went to evenbalance.com and downloaded the file to update... he is using win XP and win.zip does not recognize the file to extract it..he had saved the file to his desk.. tried right click to OPEN with win.zip but it wont...can anyone help me out here it would be much appreciated

I seem to have the same problem..... But only if i change ISPs and it goes away after some time passes. No one has my keycode

First of all I would like to say thanks for all of the warm welcomes into the group...I live here in Las Vegas and a master carpenter building trade show exhibits for the past 15 years and I spent 10 years as a prop master in Hollywood building movie sets. I am very new to gaming... about 2 years and before that i think it was Atari some 30 years ago... so i missed allot. I play COD 4 which i bought (by total accident) but had no Internet for about 2 yrs so it sat on the shelf.... not knowing what i was about to get myself into.... One day i was board and loaded the game into the computer but was curious to know what multi-player is and here I am.....addicted to COD 4. I have not found any game that even compares to it!! This is also the first time I have ever posted on a forum board Anyways ... HELLO to EVERYONE....
