Thank you for all the advice everyone. I’ve decided to replace the hard drive. I’m just not ready to give up that much money as my bank account hasn’t been this black in a long time. My son has a copy of windows 10 that I can use. Now I just have to figure out which hard drive to buy. I do play other games besides call of duty, but I haven’t been able to in a long time because of my computer issues. Any advice on which hard drive to buy?

The hard drive makes a clicking sound and then it just shuts down. I don’t have access to my specs because I can’t get my computer to turn on. I’m to the point where I just want to get another one that’s in working order as this one is old.

I've been absent from the server and game due to being hospitalized for my depression, and general depression. Also, my machine turns itself off periodically without warning. . Being in XI means a lot to me. I promise to be back in game soon. My psychiatrist says that I should force myself to do things I enjoy, and I enjoy gaming. With depression I basally sit around and feel worthless, so It's been hard to do things I enjoy. I have off tomorrow and will try to play. I know I'm not very good at it, and this absence will only make me worse, so please bear with me on that.

Hi! I did some upgrades on my machine and in doing so, I had to wipe it. I've got the game working and got punkbuster working. now the problem is that it won't allow me to join xi servers. I copied the ip's and put them as my favorites, but instead of saying the name of the server, it just has the ip address and the ping is "...." . any ideas on how to fix this?

Hi all. Well, after 7 years of membership, I'm finally gonna go to the fest. Yay! I know things are in flux as to where to stay and such, but I want to be proactive so I can save enough $ to go. As many of you know, my finances are extremely tight. As in I'm gonna have to save for months to do this and still not be able to participate in everything. The most important thing to me is meeting y'all in person. So, here are a couple of questions for ya. Firstly, is anyone driving to Nashville? My car won't make it and I can't afford a flight. Rather than take a Greyhound, if anyone is driving I'll pitch in for gas and such if I can catch a ride with you. Amtrak will take me as far as Memphis, or I can drive to meet up with you. Secondly, is anyone willing to share a room? Male or female, I don't mind either way. Just trying to make this affordable so I can go. Hope to hear back from you soon.
