I may be speaking out of place but I'm sure it's not open to JUST Canadians - just potentially being hosted in Canada so that we may have an option to attend an XI event for once. I, for one, would love to see of you Danes make it over! bring some pastries

I may not be an XI member but I'm definitely in for something like this. Seeing as the Canadian membership seems to be fairly spread out, where were you planning on hosting this? Would be nice if we could do it somewhere central like right here in Ontario, I'm too poor to be doing any flights, even domestic. Hell, I'd be happy to help with planning and arrangements if people wanted to come to London, ON - only problem is there isn't too much here entertainment-wise. I feel things would be better off being hosted in Toronto or Montreal even.

Could a mod/admin please clean up this thread? I'm all about you guys having your fun, but I'd like for things to stay on topic too. Even if you're able to grant me permissions for just this thread, I'd be happy to go through and clean it up! Maybe we could even get a sticky in the Intro section or something? Would make this a much easier thread to run!

My heart goes out to all those involved, it's a shame we still can't bring ourselves together in love and unity. I really hope that justice can be served in a way that doesn't involved more violence. You mentioned you are running your connection through a router, have you tried connecting modem directly to your PC? Sometimes the built-in firewalls on a router can severely impact your connection. Also, google 'regedit' to look up a quick hack for getting your computers internet connection to free itself up a little mroe and provide you with a tiny little boost (seriously, it usually doesn't affect much but some people have had great success trying it) Have you asked your ISP if they've done a hard reset of your connection on their end? Sometimes that is what's required and they don't usually offer that solution because it's more work for them, however, if you demand it they are required to perform the reset.
