No no Hagar you are way off m8, the world cup is the most prestigeous trophy in football, the standard of football in the European championship is usually better then the world cup overaul because there are only 16 teams in the finals and most of them will be the top teams in the world Europe being the powerhouse of world football (except England lol) but the world cup is the trophy they all want to win most, just think of the olympics and the world championships in athletics, probably better standard in the world championship but everybody really wants an olympic gold most.

Ghana v Uruguay best game by far so far in this disappointing world cup, the least fancied of all 4 quarter finals gave us end to end excitement from start to finish with drama right up to the last seconds of extra time ending in heartbreak for poor Ghana my outside tip for glory at these finals, it's just a shame that Suarez got his hand to that ball on the line, he should at least get a 2 match ban for a straight red card that would see him miss the final if Uruguay manage to get there, as for any further bans or calls for a goal to be given instead of a penalty and cries of cheating Uruguayans, every other team or player in this tournament would have handled that ball on the line to save their team it's instinct, Uruguay are actually one of the few teams that have lightened up this dull world cup, just a shame a John Mensah ( the rock) who plays for my team Sunderland missed a penalty, hope he's back fit at the Stadium of Light next season, he's a top defender who's nickname "the Rock" is apt coz he's built like one.
