Just needed to drop a note to let everyone know about my recent experience with them.

When I built my new rig I picked up the R.A.T. 7 from Saitek/MadCatz.

A couple weeks ago my son (8 months) pulled it off of my desk and broke an adjusting part on the thumb side. Not sure how that happened as this thing is pretty stout.

I e-mailed their tech support as I couldn't find any parts available to fix it. The tech tore one of the mice down to see what I was talking about, took pictures to confirm it was what I needed, then shipped it to me free of charge.

I was pleasantly surprised by this and figured the least I could do was let people know how they handled this. It is very nice to know that there are still companies out there that stand behind their products like that. I have read a lot of reviews before I bought it about people having problems with them jumping around, etc. I have had none of these issues at all. The biggest thing is to keep your mouse pad clean and if your mouse all of a sudden stops, pick it up, turn it over and blow into the laser, problem solved. It is by far the nicest mouse I have ever owned, and the service I got when I had a problem just reassures me that I made the right choice.

I killed my 6th madcatz/saitek joystick  I finally called them to know of the problem with them   faulty left and #4 button.  all of the sticks had one of these 2 problems.  they tracked down an in house stick and sent it to me as a replacement     free of charge.. sent me the new one before I had to send in the old one.  once I get the old one returned they will warranty another stick in the same manner.    I LOVE their customer service dept.  they are among the nicest and most helpful
