  1. https://kat.ph See if that works instead......
  2. www.kat.ph I use BitTorrent, never have a problem.
  3. I've only played the single player at a buddies place but the game is just awesome.
  4. Those who do not learn from the past are bound to repeat it......
  5. The hair from the salon is all I know. My brother works at a barber shop and they have people come in all the time asking for it for that reason. He says they all claim it works quite well.
  6. I did quite a bit of research on the idea. From what I can gather it's a great idea in theory. However, just like you called it. Snake oil. A lot of people claim a couple more mpg's but that can be attributed to quite a few things. Most of the time, people are doing a tune up while they add one of these things. Also they are being more mindful of their driveing if they are putting one in. Both of these can get you a few more mpg's. The theory is that your alternator is not using anywhere near it's rated amps to charge your battery or run everything is the car. Which is usually true, it isn't. However the more you ask of the alternator, the more of a draw is put on it, thus causing more of a draw on the engine. The more draw on the engine, the less mpg's. Yes you can burn hydrogen in your car, even strait hydrogen will run your car. Just look up mythbusters, they ran an old cadillac on strait hydrogen. And technically it is not even producing strait hydrogen, it is producing browns gas, or a mixture of hydrogen and oxygen which makes sense since it is breaking down water (H2O). The problem comes from the parisitic losses inherent to any mechanical object. You will NEVER get more energy out than you put in. So the gas you put in to run the engine has to turn the alternator harder to charge the plates, losing energy. Then the process of breaking down the water again losses energy, getting it to the engine, loses energy, then burning it again loses a lot of energy. So in the end, no matter what you will be burning more gas to run the thing not to mention adding more weight to the vehicle which in turn loses even more mpg's. The best thing you can do with a truck like that is to make sure it is running correctly, give it a tune up, make sure you A/F mixture is correct and lose as much weight as possible from the thing.
  7. Or just watch Newegg shellshocker deals, they always have combos on there for around that price that comes with a case, motherboard and CPU, sometimes some other stuff. You have plenty on power supply, that will be about the last thing you need to upgrade. 8GB of RAM is getting cheap now, get it for <$50 for some really good RAM. The first thing I would personally is buy an i5-2500k, than a z68 motherboard of your choosing, 8gb of ram.
  8. I see xCaliber on the conquest server quite a bit. ChiefBsr the other day, Rugger was actually in there the other day, but for the most part there are never that many tagged players that I see in there. Nothing like on the COD4 servers. Also how do you add a game to show up in your server list on Xfire? I have probably over 80 games installed but the only one that ever shows up on the server list is COD4. Which wasn't a problem before since that was all I really played online. But now I would really like BF3 to show up and I can't see how to do it.......
  9. I'm in the XI server quite a bit, I don't see that many of these names in there? Get playing!
  10. hxtr GorillaXI - Home brew Alright, so I've been working on starting up my own little home brewery. Been working on it for 2 weeks now and my first batch should be ready in 2 more weeks. I've been thinking up a logo and here is a label I came up with. Anyone got a better idea? I'll be sure to post a video of me cracking open the first bottle being poured into my frosted Idiot pint glass and let you know how it tastes. i think if it said hxtr it would be so much better. lol very cool label.... question... how will you filter the beer or will you? To get all that junk out after brewing. Actually you can filter it but it requires quite a bit of equipment. But usually you just ferment it in a primary fermenter until the krausen drops (the film of crud that builds up at the top during fermentation) then siphon it into a secondary fermenter (usually a glass carboy) then when it finishes fermenting you siphon it off again into a bottling bucket. By that time most of the stuff has fallen to the bottom. After you let it bottle condition for a couple week to carbonate, you chill it and then rest usually drops to the bottom of the bottle. So when you pour it out you just leave the last little bit in the bottom if you want it clear, or you can just drink it. I have 2 primary fermenters and 2 secondary fermenters. So I can have 4 different batches going at once. It is pretty amazing what you can do by changing a recipe a little bit. Mainly just changing yeast will completely change the profile of a beer. Check out www.beeradvocate.com find a local craft brew store and find some of the different styles of beer. That way you will know what the beer should taste like when you brew it. One of my favorites recently is wittekerke, which is a blond witbier. Very good summer brew. Also Samuel Smiths nut brown ale is probably my favorite of all time. Yeti Imperial Stout from Great Divide is something you should really try if you have never had a beer that you can taste 5 different things at once in a beer. It's incredible. And I like the label, I have no artistic talent at all so my wife makes mine, they turn out way cooler when she does them!
  11. Dstraktd I thought it was thru Steam, but can't find it. Nope, just google it and the page will come up. Download it and blow up some shit!
  12. I get it all the time, updated maps, mic plugged in, changing names in folders, etc. Nothing seems to work. It if very frustrating, to the point I don't play a lot anymore because of it. (Playing a lot of World of Tanks lately). I have reinstalled, updated drivers, just about everything else, but have never heard of opening through mod folder. Might try that next if I can get some direction. Too bad the developers won't look into it, but it seems it is only mods that cause it so I am sure they don't really care that much.
  13. Or buy two last gen cards and have better performance than a newer one. I have 2 EVGA GTX470's in SLI for about the same price as a new 560 and I have a considerable performance gain. But you could buy a 560 now and buy another down the road and beat mine also. So it really depends on do you want a single good card with the ability to upgrade to a second later or do you want to go ahead and have better performance now and maybe upgrade to a better set again later when the prices drop again. Personally I would love to have 2 EVGA 590 classified in SLI $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ But 6 months down the road they will come out with the newest greatest thing and whatever you buy will be old news. It's a never ending cycle.
  14. That is actually where I have been all the time lately. Got a Leopard, PZIII, Wespe, and a PZII 38na. It is awesome but does take forever to get to the higher tiers. And as soon as you get to the next tier you always end up on the bottom.
