so my grandpa just bought a new bad ass computer.... ( which he can only have the best for checking his email... ) and i hooked it up for him.... downloaded a couple of his programs..... but when i tried to install the drivers from the cd it says that it cannot install because its not compatible with win 7 so it asked me to run in compatibility mode so i said yes and it still didnt work... so my ? is are their any ways around this or is it just not going to work or perhaps new drivers from hp.com..... dunno still love my xp....

Go to HP website and they have the updated drivers for windows 7.

Go to HP website and they have the updated drivers for windows 7.

I had the same problem with XP64 bit when I installed a ZBoard to it. OMG what a pain in the a**. I had to run DriverCleaner on it before it would take the updated driver. That took me 3 days! A Friend of mine just bought a netwook router and it  said ON THE BOX that it was Win7 compatible but the disk did not work. I had to download the drivers from the web site and it worked fine. Good luck

thanks for the info i dont know the model number i just wanted to make sure i could find updated drivers will get back to yall...
