Last night I installed BitDefender Internet Security and can no longer login to xfire. It hangs at "getting login salt". The program rules in the firewall are set to allow. Anybody have a solution?

Not sure maybe uninstall Xfire then reinstall. I run BitDefender Total Internet Security and have no issues.

BD Internet Security has an integrated firewall. Be sure you added a rule to allow ALL xfire connections.
Most of them are local, but xfire needs them .. for whatever

Uninstall bitdefender. Throw it out. Buy iolo, (system mechanic pro). No more problems...
