I can't even enter the mobo menu. Usually turning off the PSU at the back for a minute solves the problem. But I was just wondering whether this is something I should worry about?

Does your mobo have redundant bios chips? If so, look in the manual for how to fault over to the backup. Then, update the bios. (to update, get installer from manufacturer support site)
