so i get my internet turned off cuz i was forgettful lol. well i go on to their site through my computer. verizon lets u pay ur bill through their internet when its turned off. well it says the amount past due is 149.23 so i paid it... last night at 9 pm. well its now 8 am and its all still off so i call them they say my past due amount is 179.18 and that i still owed 24 and change. im freaking pissed right now that they cannot get their fucking system fixed and that its always wrong. its like they are telling me different amounts to pay than whats shown.

this is why it is better to call them VS computer assistance.

On line it may say 129.23 but every day that goes up due to late fees, interest.. by calling them it does one of 2 things.

1st gets the right ammount due

2nd once they have confiration # you shold have internet within a few minutes.. they say in the next 30 minutes or so, but it will be up within 5 minutes. As far as the 24 bucks they can put that on your next bill due to you paying a mayority of what was owed.

Always better to talk to somone.

Time to move away from Verizon.  They are shit.   I used them in the past for our internet service at work, and they were so bad I had to ditch them.

i like verizons service just not their billing. they need to get their online view bill and their over the phone automated billing services in check before someone like be brings a lawsuit. cuz if you go paperless with them its illegal to say 2 amounts to pay. believe taco bell got into some trouble for that a while back.

If you go online it will say 1 amount and when you call they can go into your acount and update it to see what extra late charges & service fee'w were tacked on within the past few hours. They only have to update every 24 hours online.  So if you log in and make your payment, it takes longer for them to process it. In that time interest and late fees are being tacked on. So I will say this again... it is always better to call, that way things get done faster and changes are you wont have that extra fee pissing you off, due to it not being processed in a timely mannor.

normally i pay 150 or so a month for phone internet and digital cable
