He machined the heads and block out of aluminum. The first few minutes shows him starting it for the first time, and the last half of the video shows him putting it together. Both worked in aircraft plants during WWII and I still have a sodium cooled engine valve from a bomber that one of them made. It's become a lost art form today. When I was in high school in the 70's they still had trade schools to train machinists but those days are gone. Not sure where you can learn the craft today. We don't make things any more. We just send the raw materials to other countries so they can make it cheaper and sell it back to us. Awards
