can i get some recomendations on a new MoBo?  i have a XFX nforce 750a SLI now...and its crap. cant get SLI to keep working. and i dont want to deal with it anymore. now its a crap shoot that it will fire up when i turn it on. 2/3 of the times i have to change where the monitor plugs into the back of the vidcards to get it to work.

so im saying to hell wiith it...im getting a new mobo.

heres what i have to connect to the new mobo.

2- 9800GT  nvidea cards

AMD Phenom 9500 Quad-core 2.2ghz CPU

650 watt PS

750gig  sata HD

4 gigs of 1066hhz 5-5-5-15 ram

So if anyone knows whats a great board ... thats not over $150 ish.. i would appericate it a ton.. thanks

honestly there are not many AM2+ motherboards out there now your best one i can find is the one you already have. but before you buy a new one make sure you have SLI enabled in you motherboard settings and nvidia control panel, you have the most recent drivers installed, the GPUs are running at the exact same speed, and that riva tuner is not installed as it can interfere often with SLI.

Try updateing the BIOS first make sure you set your orginal BIOS to default in other words remove any over clocking then run it with only one card if stable go back to SLI

I had 2 9800 GTX SLI on a P5ND motherboard, and lost both of them......  Too many connections with the small strap, since I have the 295 GTX with 2 GPU's on it, no more problem for even better performances..... Maybe a tip?

Consider ASUS if you end up buying a mobo.. I spent a lot of money on a board by them and it has been worth the extra.. very stable and does everything I want and more.
