I have a comp that wont start up because a hard drive cant be found so I went out and bought a new one. I get the same message when trying to format. I have checked, unpluged and reseated the power and sata cables, memory etc and still not able to find a HD, any ideas? Thanks Preach

I replaced the sata cable with a new one and all is good. DOH
