Hi

Me again 🙄 I have recently replaced my GPU, as if you didn't know! Since doing it my ping has increased from av 85-90 to av 95-105, I heard some other UK member stating that they had had an increase, has there been a server change or could my GPU be doing this?

I'm sure it's not your gpu, have had it happen to me as well lately. Must be a server side issue.

I see you went into server one the other day. Not sure if you usually have your maxpackets at 100, but if I go into server 1 it puts it back to the default of 30. Check if you have "/cl_maxpackets 100" set.

Try this then reboot.  Open CMD in Administrative mode by right clicking CMD icon and choosing run as Administrator. Then run and reboot. See if this helps any.
netsh int ip reset

My next step I would try a different driver. I doubt the GPU is causing the problem but drivers can do strange things. I can see the ping going up if you had lag in the game graphics from bad video drivers. Other than that it's hard to image the GPU being the problem.

A tool that will help is Pingplotter. I have the old version of Pingplotter and this tool is fantastic at helping you troubleshoot network connections. I fixed an entire neighborhoods Internet proving to the ISP where the problem was. They had to fix it when I showed them the exact router with the problem. Only took me 3 months to convince them.

If I'm allowed to upload the shareware version of pingplotter I will. It's a GREAT program.

Otherwise go here and see if you can get a trial version.
