As some of you know I had a complete Windows 7 re-install and when I got back on line and re-installed my games it seems it all went fine until COD WaW. My profile would not come up and it would not allow me to re-enter it either. After trying many various things today I called Acti-vision support. When the agent installed the game on his pc he also entered my key and it wouldn't let him do anything with it either. He sent in a ticket to the profile server team and will call me back when he hears from them! I will keep those of you that is interested posted as to what I learned so we can all be better informed!

I'd be curious to find out how many of these old places still are standing and what they are today. This really interests me and it's like where I grew up most everything is still there but so run down its sad. I will see if I can find some old pixs of that to. Thanks Widow this is awesome!

WB Rocket I have known you for a while too and I hope I am not one of those you are referring too. I tend to keep quiet these days as I get way to animated when am in game. I have tried to not react unless I feel something is way out of kilter then I go to spec and if needed take video for documentation! Good to see you here even if it is under stressful conditions! I like playing with you. I think you would make good idiot material if you fill the necessary requirements on the website for minimum requirements to be a member!

Well Larson and I HAVE BEEN TRYING DIFFERENT THINGS AND IT SEEMS MINE ISNT THE ONLY ONE TO NOT LET ME PUT MY PROFILE NAME IN THERE. btw HE GOT ME TO OPEN THE FILE WITH WORDPAD AND THEN i WAS ABLE TO EDIT BUT IT DIDN'T FIX THE PROBLEM. i DELETED THE PROFILE i HAD TEMPORARILY AND IT WOULDN'T LET ME MAKE ANOTHER ONE! I may have to re-install without putting back ups in it till after I create my profile name. Sorry about the caps!

Loader I thought we didn't actually run punkbuster. Right? Just streaming it for those who have PB bans and problems before they came here! If that is true then tweaking here is what? I am confused about this as if you tweak and its part of the game then how and why would they ban you anyway. It simply doesn't make sense to me. But what do I know am just a redneck IDIOT! lol!

I found the config_cfg file where if I could edit it I could fix this so easy. A video on you- tube tried to show how but failed to show how you open and edit the damned file!

I have lost and cannot recover my COD5 WaW profile so am trying to correct that inn the CFG file. I know what to do once I can edit it but how do I do that? Hopefully some one knows how to help me!

I did find out its a invisible file so I went and have all files visible for the time being until I find it!

Ok so I re-installed WAW and backed it all up and when I put all my profile back in and I get this thing says I need to create a online profile. So when I do it says my choice is not available. What can I do now?

Cobra here's how ya handle the cussing and shit. I hear it all the time and I found out that when I begin hearing the complaining and bitching and moaning if I said thank you they just stfu because it tells them you know you are doing something right when they bitch!!! Lmao!
